I found this place on the last day of a business trip. It was my 3rd day of eating salads for every meal as my group went to steak houses and heavy meat restaurants. I am vegan/gf and I was hungry at this point. I stole away from the group and found Veg.Edible.
Read moreI had the buffalo chick'n ranch fries and a brown sugar vanilla milk shake. It was the absolute best meal I've had in a long while. I just had to sit there for a minute, and process because it tasted so good! The fries were crispy and the perfect thickness, they were topped with some of the best vegi chick'n I've tasted, it was chewy and flavorful. The ranch and buffalo sauces were a nice mix of spice and creaminess. The shake was out of this world with a smooth, warm, comforting flavor from the coconut milk, vanilla bean and sugar cookie flavors. I was so impressed, I bought the sugar cookie and some other cookies for the plane ride home.
This is one of those restaurants that you just HAVE to try even if you are not vegan, it's just that good!! If you live in the area I envy you, I would be eating here on a weekly basis.

Vegan comfort junk food 😋 Driving through Nebraska is not my favorite part of any road trip (sorry lol) but this place made it more bearable! Seems mostly takeaway like the description, but there's 3 tables inside. There is a free parking lot right across the street, so that was easy. Seems like it could a cool little area to walk around in. The garbage plate was A LOT of food but so tasty. There's lots of cakes and cookies for dessert too, lots of flavors.

I am biased and the desserts are my favorite. Especially as someone who isn’t gluten free. But for being gluten free, everything I’ve had has been great! All of the staff and owners are amazing! 💖✨ I think the only allergen they use in their kitchen is coconut.

A Welcome Addition to Vegans in Omaha - Edit
Was really excited when I heard there’d be a new vegan place in town, and right by my house! Usually avoid gluten free stuff because it’s not my favorite, but there aren’t many all vegan places here so gave it a shot! Got mozzarella sticks and a slice of cake, the mozz sticks were okay, and the cake was a little dry but surprisingly good for being gluten free!

The employees/owner were super friendly. My friend and I both ordered the special, the garbage plate. Unique combo but very tasty. Everything looked tasty, and I will definitely return if I have time on this trip. The dining area is small (3 tables). Most get their food to go, but eating in is an option.

I got a build your own bowl and a slice of cake. The flavors in the bowl were nothing special. The cake was flavorful but very dry. The staff are all welcoming and very hardworking, so plus one star for that.

I’ve been here twice, and it’s definitely a new favorite…and already more consistent than some established vegan restaurants. So far, we’ve tried the nachos with shrimp, the jackfruit fries, the smash burger, the bang bang shrimp tacos, and the Matty melt. All were excellent, though I preferred the shrimp when they were fried (in the tacos). And my husband would have liked no sauerkraut on the melt. (BTW, he’s a trained chef who isn’t vegan but still enjoys eating here.) But these are small quibbles!
