Vegetarian with vegan options - Edit
This is an Indian vegetarian restaurant that food is heavily prepared with butter, milk and cheese as almost every dish has cheese in it which I do not wish to support as a vegan. So be sure to ask for no cheese or butter. I had a palak (no paneer or cow’s cream), veg spring rolls (the wrapper was as thick as a flakey pie wrapper), pani puri (not that great either filled with potatoes, eh? ) and plain dosa which comes with a lentil and a coconut cream dip. They were okay but I won’t return.

The dosa here is so amazing, just like the ones we had in India. Go on Tuesday, because than it's dosa day; buy one dosa get one free.

241 dosa Tuesdays!! - Edit
We’ve only tried the dosas here but they were out of this world! Huge, crispy batter with sweet potato curry inside and several dips. They are called “butter dosas” but you can easily ask without butter to make them vegan. 241 dosas every Tuesday is a winner!

It isn’t mind blowing but it is a nice option. Make sure to specify that you are vegan and don’t eat dairy, as a lot of dishes have it. I had the chana masala which they had to alter a bit to make vegan and it was very nice.

This restaurant located in the Old Town Mall is a sister branch of the same one in Blantyre. I ate here 3 days and had different items. Food was OK in general but not as good as the branch in Blantyre. Service is attentive and fast enough, they have free wifi also.
