Nice vegan cornetto and bread - Edit
I bought the only vegan cornetto for 1.50€ with the option of adding a filling for 0.30€ which I did not do. For the city center of Florence this is a good price. I also bought a baguette for €1 which was a stellar price. The cornetto and bread both tasted good.
Read moreThe cornetto was the only pastry clearly labeled vegan available during my visit however that was at 17:00 so I can give them the benefit of the doubt that they may have simply run out.
They offer many bread options and pre-made focacce some of which are vegan.
Please be aware that some items just say filled “farcito” without explanation so it’s prudent to clarify.
All in all I will return as not only did I like the food I also enjoyed the friendly atmosphere brought by both the staff and other clients.

Morgens eine gute Auswahl an veganen Alternativen. Wir waren zunächst abends bei der Bäckerei Vecchio Forno und bekamen als vegane Option eine Art Focaccia mit Tomaten (sehr lecker) mit dem Hinweis, am nächsten Morgen für mehr Auswahl zurückzukehren. Dies war dann als Frühstück / Snack sehr gut: zwei verschiedene Croissants, verschiedene herzhaft belegte Focaccia-Varianten und eine Art Hefebrötchen mit Rosinen und Rosmarin - sehr empfehlenswert!

Plain focaccia is awful - Edit
The 'natural' focaccia ended up in the bin after 2 bites. Don't know how the ones with veggies are.

Just to advise people this is not focaccia, it's lingua (translated as tongue, also called mother in law's tongue). Every northern region does it its own way but it's usually a drier and crunchier thing, it's not a focaccia in any way.

I tried their plain quinoa croissant an it was alright, nothing special but not bad. Their apple cake looked good for next time!
