Great food, good host, nice atmosphere. - Edit
Vebh’s Good Kitchen has been one of my favourite vegan spots in Davao for years (starting with their pop-ups). The food is consistently delicious, the atmosphere is relaxed, and Kole is always a wonderful host.
Read moreMy order on repeat is the corned beef with egg, but I also love the pizza, leche flan, venuguan, and the cinnamon rolls he bakes. Everything feels homemade, comforting, and thoughtfully prepared.
Just keep in mind that waiting times can vary. The restaurant is largely run by Chef Kole himself, so during busy periods food may take a little longer to arrive. It’s best to come with the expectation that this isn’t fast food. It’s a small, independent Japanese izakaya-style restaurant where dishes are prepared with care.
If you appreciate good vegan food and supporting passionate local businesses, Vebh’s Good Kitchen is well worth a visit.
