Hot Diggity Dog!

Very excited to finally see these guys in Newcastle, after reading some glowing reviews.

I ordered the Lebanese Dream, with melted cheese and blue sauce on the top, whilst my friend got the Mexican chorizo.

We both really enjoyed the excellent toppings and blue sauce, but texturally, the vausage was more sausage than hotdog. Still very flavoursome and filling though.

Really full hot dogs

Saw Vausages at the vegan street market in Lichfield.
We had the Texas bbq hot dog and the Mexican hot dog. These were made to order and stuffed to the brim with toppings. We also had the cheesy chips with blue cheese sauce.
The flavour was great but make sure you get a napkin.

Really good hot dogs

Tried at Birmingham Vegan Festival in October 2022. Enjoyed them but very messy due to lots of lovely toppings

Messy but amazing!

I had the Texas hot dog. It had so much filling so I ended up covered in mustard but it was sooo worth it! We saw them at the Lichfield vegan food festival and can’t wait to try them again.

Pretty good hotdogs

Finally tried them at a vegan market (they seem to be at every one we go to). We got the momo’s bbq jerk with garlic mayo (which was blue). It was pretty good although expensive and I’d prefer a firmer texture. Also not sure if the fried oyster mushrooms were included or not.

Loaded Hotdogs

There is a lot that is on the hot dog so a fork is required. Worth it though. Sausages very nice indeed and has quinoa in them

Double patty breakfast bun w/ melted cheeze & fried onions got me fired up

Got the double patty breakfast bun with melted cheeze, fried onions and garlic mushrooms (all the toppings). Didn’t have to go all out like that but at the same time, I did. Also got x2 hash browns on the side and yes I’m glad I did. Had me fired up and set for the day. Let’s go!

Best chips!

Large cheesy fries here were delicious! Added loads of ketchup and mustard so they ended up like fully loaded fries. Very tasty.

Up There

Called in whilst they were at my local vegan shop (Natures Basket, Wolverhampton).

Made sure I ordered plenty as I knew it would be a while before they were back, and the food really did not disappoint.

I had one of the hot dogs, burgers, macaroni cheese and skin on fries. The burger was the pick of the bunch (Swiss Stack) but would have any of them next time they’re in town!

Amazing vegan hot dogs

I discovered Vausages at the Sheffield Moor vegan market in April 2021. We tried the cumberland hot dog which was delicious with garlic mushrooms and fried onions on top (I had gherkins and cheese on mine also) and tried the jerk hot dog too. We had a side of the purple creamy slaw too which was very tasty. We were all really impressed. Delicious. I hope to stumble across them again some time!

Hotdogs

Various hotdogs-the sausage is made with quinoa so gluten free, which makes a nice change. Different toppings and sauces available. Friendly team.

okay

I know its a sausage place but they truly do stick to sausages. The nachos werent great and if you got gluten free the hot dog was half the size for 50p more!

Pros: blue mayo, lots of optional toppings, pick your own toppings

Cons: stingy when gluten free, nachos werent great, not very creative topping options

Substantial Vegan Hot Dogs

Had the Cumberland with extra mushroom, onions mustard and ketchup at Vegan Camp Out. The rolls were lovely and healthy, the sausage tasty and the right amount of garnish. Perfect festival food and good and filling. There was great attention to the preparation and to customer service.

Pros: Tasty, Friendly team

Cons: Little bit pricey
