Lunch option/ dog friendly patio - Edit
If you’re looking for a light meal, these street tacos might fit the bill. Had the fried avocado and the jackfruit street tacos. They’re roasted salsa is so very good and has slight “bite.“Large outside covered patio that is dog friendly. Did not try any margaritas, but many other patrons did. They looked pretty good too. Walking distance from historic downtown.

"A buck a bite" of tiny tacos at Vatos Tacos in Loveland, CO. I got two vegan Jackfruit tacos, a side order of rice, a grilled jalapeño, and a side order of beans. The tacos didn't have much taste and each cost $3. One taco is about 3 bites, so depending on your appetite keep that in mind when deciding how many to order. I likedthe beans better than the tacos, and really enjoyed the roasted jalapeño which has some real kick. I bit off the end then dipped it into the beans as I ate the rest of it.
Read moreTo me the tacos are more of a novelty than a meal. I wish they still had mushrooms as an option for Vegan tacos, but that's no longer on the menu. Maybe they will bring it back of enough people ask for it.

Unfortunately, I didn’t get any photos this time around my friend had the avocado tacos and the jackfruit tacos had the vegan burrito. Make sure you say no cheese no sour cream. The people are friendly. The place is fun. The drinks are awesome.

I had a veganized version of the avocado taco and the jackfruit taco, with sides of beans and rice. Definitely street sized tacos and the rice and beans servings were tasting portions. The beans took me way back to when I ate at Taco Bell during high school.
Read moreWeather was nice and we sat on the patio which made the experience better. I would definitely go back and recommend. Hopefully they will add more vegan or veganizable options.

Vatos has a cool modern vibe with sport bar like seating inside as well as outdoor seating. There are only a fe vegan options. Fortunately the quality is pretty high and the servers and knowledgeable. That’s said, the prices are also high considering you need at least three tacos to make a meal. Jackfruit tacos were very good.

The jack fruit tacos are 10/10, make sure to ask for them without cheese. They also have a spicy cauliflower taco, but I’m assuming this is only vegetarian. My husband loved them though.

I wish they would list the ingredients on their menu because the cheese on the jackfruit taco was an unwelcome surprise and same with the suspect sauce on the fried avocado. Tasty though and reasonably priced.

I love their jackfruit tacos(remember to order without cheese!) and the fried avocado tacos although I don’t think those are vegan - just vegetarian. It’s great when dining with family who isn’t vegan. Tacos are small so you need about 3.
