Va-Santa Came Early

It would be very easy for me to be blasé about this meal and simply say it was wonderful. I expected excellence, and I got it: job done. However, to do this would firstly deprive a worthy restaurant of a decent write-up, and secondly (and perhaps most crucially) it would divest you of my elaborate ramblings—it just wouldn’t be right! So, with this in mind, allow me to forge on.
With my many (many) prior experiences with this chain, the ordering process was not an arduous task, as I practically breezed through the menu on autopilot, adding the usual obscene amount of much-adored favourites as I went. That said, I did take a pause for thought before finishing just to add one or two new items in order to introduce a modicum of difference.
When it came to the tried and tested dishes, I got the complete satisfaction that I was hoping for. Once more, the idly fry was as magnificent to eat as it was peculiar to behold, the cashew rava dosa was a triumph, and the poori was fried perfection.
As for the newcomers, there were a few that may well have snuck their way into contention for a regular berth on the lineup. The bindi fry and the kulcha were two such offerings; each of them was exemplary and contributed a new dimension to the overall experience.
Another faultless performance from this franchise that can seemingly do no wrong. I know I’ll be back; it’s just a question of when and not if.
