100% vegan and with a few nice items I haven't seen before (eg golden milk, pad thai with zucchini noodles, smoothie/ bowl combos).

The best vegan place in all of Costa Rica - Edit
I cannot say enough nice things. You will be surprised, speechless, blindsided by the quality of this food. It’s likely some of the most inventive food in Quepos. VERY laid back, but flawless options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Stay at any hotel nearby and walk to this and eat here everyday.

Had ‘the local’ breakfast bowl and did not disappoint. Vegan queso added some good flavour and nice to have something to add to the rice and beans which us vegans probably consume lots of while visiting CR. Good vibes and great service. Nice to have some fresh fruit and enjoyed some good coffee as well.

The menu is quite different from the other vegan food on offer in the area and everything we had was great. Would recommend the smoothies, the Varuna savoury bowl and the peanut zoodles. They also have a small dessert counter and sell vegan products. We’ve already decided to return to try the breakfast menu.

Close to my hotel and the Manuel Antonio National Park. Well worth a visit. The patacones tostones with guacamole and mashed beans were the best made I ever had, and the spaghetti bolognese el dente and tasty. I also enjoyed the cucumber boats with hummus, and the arugula, avocado, pesto noodles.

I wish I could give this vegan restaurant a five star rating, but unfortunately we were not impressed by the quality or quantity of the food for the price tag. We were going by the menu prices on HappyCow, but they have increased their prices since. Yes, this is an expensive area, but for comparison we went to another restaurant, which was not fully vegan, with a much better selection, service, quality of food and quantity for the price. Without going into much detail, if you would like a good colon cleanse, this is your best bet.

Read moreI had a hard time deciding what to order as there were so many tasty looking options. Breakfast was served well into the afternoon on Sunday.
Ordered the name-sake Varuna bowl, mint lemonade, and the raw cheesecake (cacao ginger) Everything was delicious!
All seating was open air. There were two small electric fans.
The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I was impressed by the recycled materials and metal straws offered as well.
Will visit again before I leave! #Veganuary

We were happy to choose this place on our first day as it was awesome. We ate there three times as our only meal of the day other than hotel breakfast. it was all we needed to sustain us even after activities and had different food each day. The starters had a couple of unique treats and the savoury bowls tasty and filling. Lots of choice friendly staff tasty cookies and smoothies too. Good wholesome tasty food

If you are looking for high protein meals this is not a good option. For desserts and very veggie meals could work. Waiter also seems lacking information about what they are selling.
