Didn‘t like it - Edit
Well, this was just not great. And in Costa Rica fashion pretty expensive. I‘ll write my opinion under the pictures.

Soooo good but pricy - Edit
We loved it. Came here 2 or 3 times during our stay because the food is so fresh and delicious. Especially after exploring all day it feels good to have something healthy. Everything we ate was awesome and the vegan candies were a nice treat too. Expensive, it is Manuel Antonio after all

Great vegan spot in Manuel Antonio - Edit
Great atmosphere and delicious all vegan food. We visited this place three times during our stay in Manuel Antonio. We tried the smoothie bowls, the curry entree, the Ocean bowl, the Varuna bowl, the dips platter and tortilla. Everything was delicious but my favorite was the cacao smoothie bowls and the Varuna bowl. T

Had the fruit bowl with homemade Granola, two cookies and the twix bar. The fruit bowl was in our opinion a bit too sour and dry. Nothing special, just fruits and granola.

Healthy food - Edit
I had a jungle salad, chocolate cookie and a “Twix” bar. The salad was huge and full of seeds with a big scoop of guacamole on top. It felt really good, and the guacamole was delicious. But it should have come with a salad dressing (a cilantro lime dressing would have gone well), otherwise I was just eating plain vegetables and seeds. The cookie was very good, but it cost $6, so I did not go back for another, the value just wasn’t there. When I asked why the cookie was so expensive the cashier responded “porque es vegano”. And the Twix bar was ok. It was very filling, which was nice, but it could have been sweeter, and either dryer or moister, but the in-between was only ok. Overall I’m glad they exist.

Super tasty vegan food! - Edit
Loved staying walking distance from this all vegan restaurant with breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. The zucchini noodle pesto and nachos were fabulous! This restaurant is highly similar to “Roots” more down the street, so I can attest they also have excellent desserts and smoothies! But the treats and smoothies can get expensive. (But no regrets, they are both so good!!) Definitely check them out if you’re in the area!

Big bowls & tasty - Edit
The food was good and the curry was big as well as the salad. They also had a decent selection of vegan deserts and snacks. I would like the option to add wheat noodles to most of the dishes as it's all gluten free. Which is great if you are looking for a gluten free meal but I really think it would have made us come back again if we had that option.

Good healthy food - Edit
I enjoyed the fresh healthy food here very much but my partner was disappointed as there were not enough unhealthy choices for him so owners should note that not all vegans want to eat bowls with lots of salad/raw ingredients. He enjoyed the excellent nachos though and everything we had was good including the tortilla wrap with mushrooms and kale, ocean bowl and curry.

Für Rohkost-Liebhaber perfekt. - Edit

Fab Vegan Food Spot - Must Visit! - Edit
Great to see a fully plant-based / vegan restaurant in Manuel Antonio!
Read moreWe went here for breakfast twice while stopping in Manuel Antonio and we were really impressed both times. We shared the Banana Pancakes and the Local Breakfast and both times they were delicious! We also had 2 hot drinks, the Sweet Nectar Cacao & the Coffee Cacao which were both really tasty made from Costa Rican Cacao.
They also sell Tamales which we ordered to take away for a snack later that day which were great, along with some homemade sweets treats that included a vegan twix bar, vegan Ferrero Rocher, Cacao Banana Bread & Choco Chip Cookies! All of which were amazing, especially the Ferrero Rocher!
We loved the food so much, that we thought we'd venture back there for an evening meal at 7pm on Friday evening however, although their website said they close at 9pm and Happy Cow said they close at 8pm, when we arrived at 7pm they were closed!!! We were really disappointed as we wanted to try their food on their main menu. We'll never know why they were closed early, we don't see it as something to mark down a vegan restaurant, however, if visiting the restaurant it's something to be aware of to avoid disappointment!
Overall, amazing vegan food, and you could tell everything was fresh and prepared with love. If we visit Manuel Antonio again we'll definitely be heading back there to try some more of their food!
Pros: Fresh, tasty vegan food only, Banana Pancakes, Homemade Vegan Sweet Treats
Cons: Restaurant opening hours unclear, Shut at 7pm on a Friday night

Amazing, fantastic, and delicious - Edit
Wow. So wonderful. We just finished a week in Costa Rica, and four days in quepos. I think we ate here four times. Incredible. Great variety, well made, unique and delicious dishes that lean into health. They have no hesitation making small adjustments to suit any needs you have. I loved the air fry fries. lol. But the gallon pinto was wonderful. The pad Thai was a huge surprise but was amazing and delicious. The juices were great, too. So glad we found them.
