Waitor/chef put cheese on my vegan dish - Edit
Unfortunately I cannot recommend this place. The guy making my food (I asked for vegan avacado pasta and pointed to VEGAN underneath it asking him to make it vegan) and said VEGAN please.
Read moreHe made my pasta (which was basically a cup of oil with some guac mixed in) and then started to grate dairy cheese on top!!! Me and my partner who is also vegan started saying NO NO! no cheese! Vegan! At this point the cheese was already on top of my pasta and he handed it to me.
I said, no. I do not eat cheese I'm vegan so he picked it off and handed it to me again. The cheese had melted into the pasta now and I just took it miserably and picked around the part where the cheese touched.
Basically this is poor staff training. He obviously had no idea that vegan meant no cheese. I wouldn't have been as upset if he apologized and gave me a new dish but instead he didn't. Just handed me it and I had to go away.
Lucky I spoke to the manager who then proceeded to allow me my meal for free but I'd avoid at all costs and just go someplace that is fully vegan.
