Delicious, healthy and plentiful! - Edit
The food is delicious. I had the mixed salad and my husband had the ramen. His dish was quite large! I also had a chai tea which was very sweet. Highly recommended!

Fun twist on healthy eating - Edit
My spouse and I had the sushi hot dog and sushi burger - both were very unique in flavour profile and texture. Very delicious and good portions for the price. Our juices were delicious. We wanted to order dessert but had to go, but next time I’d absolutely try the raspberry tart!

Tasty and healthy - Edit
It’s not hard to find vegan food in London, but it is hard to find healthy Vegan food anywhere. This restaurant delivers. it is focused on the plants for the most part and It has really tasty dishes. The food doesn’t have too much added oil or white carbohydrates, which can really weigh you down when you travel.
Read moreEven though it’s in a very busy part of the city, it’s very tranquil because it’s in a basement.
I ordered the chicken satay and the magic mushrooms dish with mash- everything was really well seasoned and not heavy. I also ordered from Uber Eats last night and enjoyed it.

Tasty, nutritious food in a great location - Edit
This is a great basement restaurant in Chinatown with a lovely ambience. We had the lo ho fun, a great noodle dish, and the smashing lentil, a delicious, hearty dish. We really appreciated the healthy focus and would visit again!

I have been coming to this place a lot over the years and it never fails to satisfy my taste buds. The options are great and I love the innovative cocktails too.

Maybe we were unlucky? I see only positive review but for us food was not great.

I was looking forward to it - Edit
Went early on a Friday and had starter, cracky Cucumber, with a main, Bean Bliss.
Read moreOverall left disappointed as sadly it wasn't that good. In Chinatown and surrounding areas there are better options for the same price point.
Maybe they had an off night as a lot of good reviews about this place.

Literaly The Best Vegan Food in Town - Edit
I’ve been coming here for years and have never once been disappointed. The food is consistently healthy, delicious, and entirely plant-based. The owners are incredibly warm, welcoming, and genuinely hospitable. Highly recommend

Fresh and Healthy - Edit
Fresh and creative food. I tried the Dragon Roll, which I highly enjoyed. The portion was also quite generous.
Read moreService was a little slow, even though we were the only ones there. This wouldn't normally be an issue, but we were heading to a show afterwards so we were pushing it for time. My advice is to give yourself plenty of time here, just in case. Otherwise, the location is good, due being in close proximity of the theatres.
Another thing to note is that the restaurant is also located on the basement level, down a reasonably narrow set of stairs. I'm not sure if there is an alternative entrance; just a note for those with access requirements.
The staff were friendly and attentive.

So delish - Edit
Nice vibe and lovely employees. We shred two started and had a laksa each and I took a slice of rhubarb crumble home with me, all 10/10. Only one teeny thing is that they play classical music and I think the ambience could be improved with some more vibey music

An Excellent and Very Healthy Surprise in the Middle of London - Edit
We popped in here a bit by accident on Christmas Eve. The restaurant is a lovely respite from the chaotic streets outside. It is quiet and charming. We had the kimchee salad, Tom Yum soup, Dragon Roll and a noodle bowl. All of these were fresh (more than fresh!) and very healthy. All dishes are organic and use whole versions of grains, so for example, the sushi uses brown rice, and noodles are made with whole versions of grains. We found it all to be very inspired and welcoming. I can imagine the regular devotees of the restaurant love to easily get delicious and healthy food in the midst of the junk food and fast food all around the area. BTW my photos don't do justice to the lovely food - it is a bit dark in the restaurant for good quality photos.

Delicious healthy food - Edit
A very cosy basement restaurant with an extensive drinks list (including lots of non-alcoholic teas, drinks and juices). There are no fried or pungent dishes here so if you are after junk food then this isn't the place. I really enjoyed the buckwheat crackers and Suan La Fen noodles. It's just around the corner from that massive M&Ms store near Leicester Square, but it's very quiet and chilled.

Green Haven beneath the crowded streets - Edit
We went here for dinner before going to a musical show. Deswpite the busy street the restaurant is quiet and a welcome change.
Read moreWe were pleasantly surprised because some of the photos on here are not that appealing. The mantra of this restaurant is ambitious and is matches in execution. The food was delicious and despite not aiming for it we went for a dessert and were happy to do so.
The only thing on the negative side: we sometimes had to wait a fair amount of time even if one takes in consideration it was a Saturday night.
Still we’d come back and eat here again
Cons: Waiting times

Disappointing - Edit
No waiting line, so I should have known. Very expensive, staff speaks little English and nothing special. The ‘satay’ lacked taste but swam in oil. The smoothie was more of a coloured coconut milk. Very little number of guests.

Beides komplett ohne irgendein guten Geschmack.

Reportedly the oldest organic vegan restaurant in Europe. A bohemian, and mildly traditional atmosphere. The food's deliciously spiced, and uniquely prepared. I love it.

Good vegan food, affordable for London - Edit
Good assian-inspired simple vegan food.
Read moreRelatively affordable for London.
OK ambiance (at the basement level) with no windows.
Tea is brewed well, but serving size too small (a cup). A tea pot size is expected for a sit-down restaurant.
Pros: Simple food, not fried
Cons: Basement level, Tea serving size too small.

Pros: Nettes Ambiente, Keine Reservierung notwendig, Besonderes Essen
Cons: Zur Öffnung nicht bereit

Hidden gem - Edit
You'll easily walk past Vantra as it's just a doorway leading into a basement. It was super cosy with lovely staff. I have great faith visiting a china town restaurant where the chef has been vegan for 25 years.
Read moreThe food is amazing. I don't know what magic they did to my side salad. I'm usually not a salad person but they could have served me a wheelbarrows worth of that salad and I would have continued eating it!
