Very nice - Edit
This was a really nice place! It was quite a different place than we've been before - no tapas and a bit more expensive, but still super affordable (8 to 10 euro for a plate of food). The food was a bit more luxurious and that was very nice! I believe half of the menu was vegan, and very clear on the menu as well, so that is cool. So If you're looking for a more chique kind of night, this is the place :) and also if you're just curious about the food, because it looked like they really know about food! So, recommended, definitely.

Very friendly staff, nice interior, good price but most important: yummy food! It's very nice to go to with your omni friends cause half of the menu is omni and half of the menu is vegan/vegetarian. I had the bulgur with vegetables and tofu and it was very tasty!

Very nice vegan tapas and very attentive service, definitely a recommendation. Even during main Spanish dinner hours it was very quiet and we were served quickly.

Vantana - Edit

I had two "entradas" : croquetas and cauliflower in a tomato and garlic sauce

So yeah, I think it's a good place to eat out if you're looking for a fancy place, but on a student budget, I wouldn't do that everyday
Pros: Good Food, Fancy place, Free Wi-fi
Cons: Expensive

We went to Vantana for an evening meal out. Very nice, reasonably fancy and a full veggie/vegan menu (only one dish wasn't full vegan). Only shame was my Chop Suey was advertised with tofu but didn't come with any, which was odd.
Read moreAll very tasty. The artwork not to my taste but otherwise a nice place to eat! A solid option for a vegan evening meal.
Pros: Nice setting, Good food, Efficient service
Cons: Dishes not 100% as described (but close enough), Some odd artwork!

Much better than it looks on the menu! - Edit
Just got back from a meal at Vantana. The vegan and vegetarian items didn't seem particularly appealing, but they also have daily specials. We had an amazing lasagna with cauliflower and lots of shredded vegetables. It was so rich that we couldn't finish it all. The croquettes from the menu are vegan and come with two sauces - also very flavourful and interesting. It all seemed to be made of high quality and healthy ingredients. I imagine that everything is probably pretty good.

well well - Edit
i'm not sure here..
Read more3 menus: one "traditional". normal sevillan style.
one vetarian, one vegan.
Sounded great.
First mistake, we ordered a vegan risotto that was served with ham..Answer of the waiter :" it's not meat, it's ham ! Everybody loves ham!"
nice. the pasta was so-so. we stopped there.
Clue: it's supposed to be all organic but is as cheap as the cheap tapas bar in town.. suspiscious.
Pros: central
Cons: non vegan vegan dishes, non focus service

A pleasant dinner - Edit
Last month I finally went to Vantana. 50% of the menu is vegetarian. I had dinner there with 2 non-vegetarian friends and we ordered three main dishes which we shared. Particularly good was the Bulgur with veggies and the hummus was also very tasty.

Very friendly service ! - Edit
If you want to taste a good food in a restaurant with nice decoration, go there. The set is class and simple. For a meal, you must pay roughly 15euros.
Read moreA little negative aspect is the glass of wine. The amount is a bit small. They could serve more wine in it. But it's good. Go there to have a real restaurant meal and don't hesitate to spend 20euros for a nice experience.
Pros: service first class, good food
Cons: glass of wine a bit too short

I have to discount a star because it was very difficult to know when they'd be open. We couldn't find hours online and the first time we went they were closed. However the food was very good and staff was friendly. We shared some vegan croquettes and i had fried noodles with mushrooms, sesame, and basil. Unfortunately they didn't have a vegan dessert that day (although i was probably too full for dessert anyway, my plate had A LOT of noodles).

Great food, lots of veggies! - Edit
We had a very satisfying meal here! We shared a starter of basil hummus, which was very nice and creamy, and two mains: tofu chop Suey and fried bulgur with vegetables. Both really well flavored and with beautiful colors. Very much suitable for vegetarians and vegans, a long as you don't mind meat options on the menu and the inevitable ham on the bar... A bit pricy compared to regular restaurants in sevilla (12-15 euro for a main), but the organic vegetables were well worth it!

Great vegan & vegetarian menu - Edit
Vantana was lovely - a real breath of fresh air in a city which can be challenging to eat out in if you don't eat meat (we DO eat fish and we find it hard sometimes - it's even more so if you are fully vegetarian, let alone vegan).
Read moreThe dishes are beautifully presented, cleverly (and freshly) cooked and absolutely delicious - I get the impression that the menu is highly seasonal and changes regularly as the selection is small, although sufficient.
There is also a menu for meat-eaters, making it a suitable place for groups with mixed diets.
Prices are also good, bearing in mind it is located in the city centre and aimed at a slightly upmarket clientele.
Pros: Great food, Good selection, Lovely fresh food

delicious and personal - Edit
Happycow brought me to this restaurant and I'm so happy it did. I lunched here two days in a row and it was so delicious. Their menu has options for every diet and everything is organic! Finally a place you can order vegetables and a salad and you get to big portions in stead of a few leaves on a plate or 5 pieces of vegetables. The chef even came by my table to ask if I liked the food and what my diet was and how it made me feel. It all felt really personal, the staff were so kind. When I return to Sevilla I will with no doubt go back to this lovely place.
