Always a great choice especially for groups - Edit
Food is always delicious and impressive. The set menu is required for groups over 6 people and for $38 it's a pretty good option. We've taken omni friends here and they like it, I've never heard a bad word about Vandal, everyone leaves satisfied and happy with the creative and tasty dishes.

Awesome tacos, great place for groups - Edit
Vandal’s food is very tasty and features creative vegan twists on traditional Mexican cuisine such as the ceviche and cheeseburger spring rolls (my fave). It has a lovely atmosphere and friendly service. A perfect place to take groups of friends to introduce them to vegan food!

Nice food, but bad communication and clarity - Edit
Ordering shared apps for the meal, everything was quite nice, but portions were smaller than other similar places. Next time I’d get the set menu and I think that would have a bit more food. Update; Set menu is nice but $44/pp is quite a bit pricier than other options and not reflected in value or taste and it was only 38 on the menu? Went with a big group and half of us were charged different amounts for the same set menu.

I was delighted with the food and the drinks at this restaurant. I was lucky to get there and find it was Taco Tuesday so half price Tacos and $15 margaritas.

Cannot fault them. Their dishes are all vegan, creative - so much you have to take a double take to make sure it’s actually vegan! Friendly staff. Set menu is plenty of food at $35. Highly recommend.

Creative menu, good variety, reasonable price. We got the set menu which included 5 items and then we got an extra dish too (i forgot to take a photo of the quesadilla). It was very filling. The reason i haven't given it a 5 is for some of the dishes it just felt a bit "meh", but it's still worth trying for yourself

What can I say - it’s nothing like I’ve had before 🤯 We had their tasting menu and for $35 it was a lot of food! We were genuinely surprised because usually everything in Sydney is expensive 😂 Food was amazing!
Read moreWe also ordered their empanadas as an extra and WOW!!! It was my first time trying them and what a mouthful. Soooo good and filling.
I also have to thank the staff there because this place was packed, but we were never forgotten. Food kept coming out, we got to order more drinks etc. They never even looked flustered which can happen when it’s a full house. We were both so impressed with the level of service and food. We will definitely go there again!

This place is amazing. The food is divine and it will blow your mind. Definitely start with a charred corn cob and then grabs some of the tacos. They’re all so so good. They do Taco Tuesdays too so each taco is $4 on Tuesdays and the margaritas are all $15 too.

Brilliant! Great service and fantastic menu. The food was outstanding. It was worth getting the set menu so that we could try lots of different items. We couldn't fault any of the food, it was all beautifully cooked, flavoursome and well presented.

Vandal was nothing short of extraordinary, opting into the set menu i embarked in a culinary journey that left me thoroughly impressed. The food will simply unreal, each course was visual masterpiece and a delight to the tastebuds. It was delivered with remarkable speed. Thanks to the efficient and friendly staff. The mushroom quesadillas were a standout for me. The combination of mushrooms perfectly melted cheese and spice with a true winner.

Can't fault this place! My partner and I went for dinner twice in four nights during our trip to Sydney. Everything we ate was beautifully presented and tasted amazing! As others have mentioned, you can't go wrong with the Set Menu; it gives you a decent taste of all the menu highlights at a very reasonable price. Our favourite dish was the Tuna Ceviche Tostadas, 10/10. The Birria Totopo was also super tasty with just the right amount of spice. They call it the “perfect little flavour bomb” and I don’t disagree. My only complaint is I wish it was bigger!
Read moreThe service we received from the staff on both visits was excellent, they were super friendly and happy to engage in some banter as well as meaningful chat. The restaurant itself has a very relaxed spacious vibe with cool decor, warm lighting and big bifold doors that allow the front of the restaurant to be open and creates an al fresco feeling.
Will definitely come again anytime I'm in Sydney!

I’ve been to vandal 3 times now. First it was an Uber eats take away order, then with a large group of friends where we ordered separately and I wasn’t too impressed but last weekend I gave it another go and went with the set menu and was happily surprised.
Read moreI’m typically hesitant to order a set menu as I’m concerned for small portion sizes and missing out on trying things I want but the set menu at vandal was a great selection of everything and you could choose your own tacos or add on anything else. The set menu was so well portioned, I ended up asking for the extras I ordered to be cancelled. The margaritas were also delicious! The service was brilliant and the atmosphere was great. Would definitely go back again.

Delicious! We had the classic set menu with a variety of smaller meals, including guacamole, quesadillas and tacos. Everything was amazing. The chocolate mousse for dessert was sooo good!

Revisited last night had empanada and celerity katsu taco both were great tasting and flavour. Partner had chagrined corn and zucchini flowers. He enjoyed them both. Had lychee mocktail.
