Matcha cheesecake - Edit
I really appreciate having vegan matcha cheesecake to enjoy. The place is very cozy and relaxing to hang out for a tea/coffee and dessert. Sorry to say this though there is always room for improvement. The matcha cheesecake tastes metallic. They could use at least culinary grade matcha to make it richer in both colour and taste. And brew it at 80°C/176°F (no hotter than this) to reserve all the authentic flavour and texture in my humble opinion.

It's well worth the visit! - Edit
The place is changing name and times and on Google Maps a wrong address is linked to it: be careful of this, 'cause otherwise you end up in a kids school neighborhood, far from the real place. The restaurant is worth the search, though. The staff is lovely and open to a nice chat. The food is yummy and also for take away. The place itself is big and cozy: couches, books and big windows.

The new menu is inventive and completely different than other vegan items you’d get elsewhere in Reykjavik.

Went here twice bc it was fairly close walking distance to where I was staying. The first time I arrived shortly after opening and was in a bit of a rush. There was a smaller food selection early, but had a very nice chat with the manager. The place itself is beautiful on the inside with several seating options, both couches and tables. There’s good sized island with other products to purchase like candies, makeup and varies other items right when you walk in.
Read moreThe second time I went, the service was really slow. It took almost 30 minutes for a small sandwich with an underwhelming portion size. The tea and the coffee was good here. The food was okey but small portions. The croissant was like a mini croissant and the sandwich had maybe three slices of veat. They use Tofurky on their sandwiches. The staff was friendly on both days. Would probably give them 3.5 but couldn’t justify overselling. Similar to the previous review, hopefully it was just an off day for them.

I always want to love and support vegan only establishments but unfortunately this one fell short.
Read moreThe card machine wasn’t working so we were asked to wait. After 30 mins we asked what the update was and was told to get cash out before we could order which we did.
The quality of food wasn’t what I would expect for the price. The bagels were from the freezer and the cheese was visibly stale.
A real pity as it has such great reviews, perhaps an off day.
If you’re in the area then fab, otherwise I wouldn’t recommend coming out your way.

To provide a counter point to this experience: we live down the street near Skipholt 1 and come here often and have never had an experience like this so this may have been a bad one-off experience.

Cute cafe with different opportunities to sit (normal desk with chairs or even big seats and couch). It's all vegan in here, there is also a little shop at the frontdesk with different sweets, cosmetics and protein products).
Read moreWe got a pumpkin spice latte and a hot chocolate with cream. Reeeally good chocolate❤️. And ate waffles with cream and a coconut-caramel-cake, both also very good. Waffle is over 10€, I think a little pricy in comparison to the cake.
But it's a nice atmosphere and good to sit on a cold icelandic day.

This place is pretty spacious and super charming with vintage furniture and cute decor! The staff were friendly and helpful and it was such a nice place to grab breakfast. It was not too busy on a Thursday morning and made for a nice quiet place to take a break. The french press coffee with oat milk and waffle with all the toppings were both really good 😊

This is a lovely coffee shop with great drinks, great food, and plenty of seating. I tried a few of the sandwiches and a chocolate croissant, and everything tasted amazing. The staff was also very friendly!
