Burrito contaminated by bacon - Edit
I’ve been a big fan of Valentina’s for years, hence why I am not giving them one stars. But I ordered the vegan breakfast burrito the other day and at the end of my burrito was bacon. Seems to have been an accident but the chance of cross contamination is quite big and this was obviously upsetting and not good enough.

Doughnuts and pies are really delicious too.

Impeccable vibes - Edit
An American diner concept, but classed way up. I appreciate the attention to design and branding here. The space is pleasantly cohesive and comfortable.

The food is inspired by American diner fare but obviously much better because this is Australia and marrickville no less best cuisine in da world. However they've presented a more appetising side to American food, using ingredients and dishes maybe unfamiliar here, like tomatillo or cornbread. I liked my vegan breakfast sandwich. The meat patty was chock full of black pepper. It also had fennel seeds in it which is a bit random but not bad. And the coffee was great (espresso, no American influence on the coffee thank goodness)

Wish they had more! - Edit
Really cool atmosphere and packed every time I’ve been. Only two options really for meals, but the vegan breakfast sandwich is so good I keep coming back! By far the best vegan sausage patty I’ve tried. Had the sloppy joe fries this time as well and really enjoyed them. I wish they explored making some of their other menu items vegan.
