We drove in here on the way, it was worth it! - Edit
We ordered 2 vegan burgers and a salad. They were very tasty. The way the food is served is very aesthetically pleasing. It's nice to sit outside, the garden is very nice. Thank you for the water bowl for the dog and the approach to it. Our dog really liked the waitress and was curious each time what she was carrying 🙃.

Das online Menü war nicht up to date also gab es nur noch einen veganen Burger und vegane Falafel. Der Burger war tip top, schön auf stylischem Teller zubereitet mit Spieß in der Mitte und kam mit Pommes und Ketchup. Falafel Platte war auch sehr schön zu bereitet und geschmacklich hervorragen. Bei den Falafel sollte man sehr fettiges Essen gewöhnt sein.

Fancy place but with limited options - Edit
Vala has a large outdoor garden that despite the smokers is very pleasant . The staff spoke English. The insides area is posh and the toilets are nice. It’s all a bit naff what with the gold coloured cutlery etc but hey it’s Croatia! The veggie burger is excellent, meaty and solid though the burger bun is too sweet and there is not quite enough salad in the bun.
Read moreI should have checked they really understand the difference between veggie and vegan because they falafel option which was the other vegan option includes tzatziki which worries me!
I’ll go back to check one day and see if they have anything new to offer. No desserts on offer at all!
But let’s be fair by Pula standards this is a good place for ethical eaters! It’s in Croatia!

Also the place is a little naff because I the owner am trashy it’s not the Croatian thing 😉

Hey Antonia, Thanx for the response, good to see restauranteers taking note of HC! I enjoyed the trashyness. Is there a reason why the menu does not state clearly what is vegan and what isn't?
Read morePlease forgive the scepticism about the taziki but I have often been directed to food with dairy in and told it is vegan in Croatia (and other places). Great to know yours is soya based, next time, I'll try it out.

Marvellous Garden with vegan options - Edit
The place is very curated and beautiful, I saw the indoor which is modern and stylish. We stayed outdoor in a beautiful garden that explodes with colourful flowers, it has been very relaxing to have dinner there. Two vegan options when I visited. Burger and falafel, food was tasteful.

Tasteful dish in a nice environment - Edit
Nice and cosy restaurant with two vegan dishes on the menu. The vegan colourful plate was a big portion and very tasteful. It had a lot of different kinds of vegetables and the tofu was well seasoned. Unfortunately there were no vegan desserts available.
