We arrived in Barcelona after about 20 hours of travel. We were tired and in need of a shower.

I am from Barcelona and walking across gracia I discover this nice little vegan restaurant. They have a really creative menu. All dishes I tasted had plenty of flavour. I loved the salty waffles and the staff was great!!

Loved everything and will go back again for sure! The aged vegan cheeses are to die for.

Little restaurant located in a charming street near Diagonal and Passeig de Gracia. The chef is a real food artist very crafty with homemade creations from cheeses to burgers, gluten free chickpea waffles, sauces, raw dishes and so on! The food is super rich and tasty l, so good I visited them twice. Both the house burger and the pesto "mozzarella" waffle completely blew my mind!! The venue is very small with only a couple of tables inside and a couple more outside but they also do take away. At midday they offer a very nice menu deal with drink main and dessert. The tirawmisu is a must! Oh! And super friendly service. Highly recommended!

Second visit today. (On my first visit I had a veggie burger and a raw cake).
Today I tried their waffle with "rawtella" and it was delicious!
We also had a sandwich with cashewnut cheese, avocado and greens which was to die for.
I love being able to look at the kitchen through the glass how they make everything from scratch.
Love this place and can't wait to be back.

I love this place. Inventive, healthy, delicious food, great service!

The staff were friendly and they have an English menu behind the counter.

The burger and bun were delicious but the avocado wasn't ripe and kind of ruined it a bit.

The raw brownie was good but the cocoa on top made it quite bitter.

Han cambiado el menú y ahora te tienes que escoger los ingredientes en todos los platos. Hemos pasado demasiado tiempo seleccionando.Era mejor antes cuando los platos ya estaban determinados de entrada.

I kinda found this place by chance while walking around, so i had a raw pizza, I've never had one before, it was kind of like flatbread, it was absolutely incredible, pick your own toppings, i went for, avocado, jalepeno, vegan cream cheese, sun dried tomato, i don't know if i got lucky with this combination but i would rather think its down to the quality of produce and of course, the people making it, it was absolutely delicious, so good that i ran back to the shop to tell them how good it was. amazing.

We had the waffles with the Rawtella. AMAZING! Go there!!!

My favorite place in Barcelona. Creative and delicious food, made by cooking lovers.

we came here for brunch today. it was easy to find and nice decor for grabbing a quick bite. my boyfriend got the burger which he really enjoyed (he's picky about his burgers) and I got the raw pizza. the crust was a little dry and breadlike, I have had better raw pizzas before (at the now defunct inspiral in london) but the raw chorizo was divine! Smoothies were also great.

I stumbled upon this amazing place just after opening last September, and I loved it!

The owner was super friendly and the food was absolutely delicious. I will definitely be back, when I am in Barcelona again. I really hope that this place will be around for a long, long time.

After almost a week of eating different vegan burgers in Barcelona I must say this is the best one - and it was some fierce competition. The service was outstanding from the moment me and my friend walked in. Both burgers - including buns - and juices were homemade and extremly delicious. You can even see the food being prepared from the sitting area. The place has an amazing atmosphere and is decorated beautifully. The prices are extremly fair. You simply must visit this place :)

The cheese burger is amazing! The patty is so good it melts in your mouth.
The kale chips are addictive.
A really cozy and modern place with such a nice staff. I would go back any time.

The food was amazing!! I had the raw plate of the day, and it was great. Filling and flavorful. But the best part was the desserts!! The place is nice but a little bit too small. I was even able to buy vegan cheese to take home! will definitely be back soon

Such tasty burgers. portions arn't huge if you are very hungry, but the taste is up there with some of the best.

A very interesting concept about mix ingredients for the best digestion and perfect assimilation of nutrients! The vegan cheese are the best!

We didn't know that we would eat chorizo in Barcelona as vegans! Thanks to Vacka team we enjoyed tapas! We were sad we didn't have time to try out all the menu! If you go there please do it for us!

Väcka is a calm and beautiful little place on a calm and beautiful little street near Gràcia. While many of the individual items on the menu seemed a little expensive to justify stopping by regularly, I was happy to discover that the menu is an affordable and filling option at 9.80€. The menu includes a main dish (today the options included a cheeseburger and tacos with nut 'meat'), a dessert (cinnamon roll, tiramisu, raw brownie with ice cream, etc.), flavored water, and coffee or tea.

Everything was scrumptious, but I especially liked the calm and welcoming atmosphere fostered by the very friendly staff, who bring out pretty dishes one by one and have time to discuss ingredients, food origins, and so forth. I actually felt pretty decadent, as if they were waiting on us hand and foot! The fluffy almond milk cappuccino was the perfect way to end the meal, and even managed to change my general opinion on almond milk. I can't wait to go back!

(Apparently 'väcka', as well as sounding like 'vaca' (cow in Spanish), means 'to awaken' in Swedish, and was chosen to illustrate the restaurant's philosophy on the effects of healthy food.)

Daily menu is also available at lunch time. Take away, raw food and gluten free available. The food is really good and healthy!!

Amazing selection of raw food... perfect for lunch or snacks on the go.
We got the raw chorizo, kale chips and cinnamon roll (which was incredible!) and they were all delicious. The salad Jars looked yummy and I liked that they had a 'mini' size too, can't wait to go back and try them.
A new favourite spot

Had a delicious waffle there this morning, it was one of the chocolate ones but I've forgotten the name. The staff are lovely and the restaurant itself, while small, is absolutely gorgeous. Definitely recommend it!!
