Brunch - Edit
Complimentary champagne with brunch. I got a tofu scramble which was very good, I think it was mixed in with just egg. They seem to have a lot of options many seem like they have a decent amount of bought products. The whole menu is vegan which is great. Atmosphere was nice, staff was friendly.

Great Food, All Vegan - Edit
We tried several appetizers, main dishes, and even ice cream! Everything we had was delicious and would not scream "vegan" to us, so if you're dining with mixed dietary needs, this a really good option.

Good place! - Edit
I’ve heard not so great things about V-Spot, but I’ve actually had pretty good experiences every time I’ve gone. I have had the ravioli, pierogis, Korean BBQ beef and veggies, and most recently the seitan tacos, and I’ve enjoyed all the dishes I’ve tried! The seitan tacos were particularly good. Even my far-from-vegan family member enjoyed the food - he got the nachos and he ate them all! We also shared a raspberry cheesecake which was delicious. The restaurant has a large pet-friendly patio, so my kitty also enjoyed the experience (she tried to steal my food AND roll around in the dirt). The only con is the high prices, but it’s New Hope, so it’s understandable.

Delicious food, beautiful restaurant, lovely small town to mozy through.

100% vegan menu with so many choices. (Our 6 year old was sooo delighted with his all-vegan kid's menu! "I can have ANYTHING on it?! No meat, no dairy, no eggs?!!!")
We chose the Reubens and they were yummy. Our little boy got the tacos. Next time we will try the pierogi.
Don't pass up V-Spot!

Wanted to like it but… - Edit
My husband and I have tried this restaurant twice. We were disappointed the first time, when we ordered seitan ribs which had a really weird flavor to us, and butternut squash ravioli which had no flavor. We got a salad special which was good. Wanting to support a vegan place we decided to try it again. We got a salad which had mushy canned mandarin oranges and barely a hint of the blue cheese it was supposed to have. We also ordered an appetizer sampler which was left in the fryer so long it was inedible. It’s a shame but unfortunately we will not go back.

Both the service and the food are outstanding. The peach lemonade is one of the best drinks I've ever had. The food is super fresh. I am vegan and have brought omni family members here and they both thoroughly enjoyed it as much as I did.

Enjoyable lunch - Edit
Yesterday, while away for a few days, we discovered this restaurant. We were greeted by a nice, friendly young man. We chose to eat inside because of the heat. We shared what was ordered so that we could try more selections. We had chili, falafel salad, and seitan ribs with smashed potatoes and vegetables. The chili was very good and not spicy. The falafel was nicely prepared and served with fresh greens. The ribs were my favorite and looked delicious.

Wish I could be thrilled with this place - Edit
You know I want to be able to give a vegan restaurant 5 stars. But this one didn’t even earn four stars. The outside dining is lovely. The linens inspiring patterns and colors. The waitress was nice. But the food was only so so. The grilled veggies was very uninspired with non- local veggies cut in chunky ways and barely seasoned or soft. Think bell peppers and zucchini. Service was slow. Water ran out. Special salad was pretty but served with minimal dressing. Nirvana soup was the best thing we ordered. I will not return, especially with another vegan option in town which was very good.

I got takeout so I can’t speak for the restaurant vibe but I got the special of French onion soup and chili. Chili came with cornbread which was pretty tasty, but the French onion soup was weirdly too sweet and had a piece of bread with an unmelted cheese slice on top

Wonderful Easter Lunch - Edit
Came here with my family for Easter Lunch. My second time here and the third time for the rest of my family. As we couldn't decide on which starters to get, we opted for the V-Spot Sampler. Was not disappointed. Our meals consisted of The Vegan Surf & Turf, Krab Cakes, Organic Perogies and the Reuben. We all shared our meals and everything excellent and delicious!! The only thing that kept this from a 5 star review was the size of the Key Lime Pie, very small for the price. It was very tasty, just very small portion for the price.

2nd Best vegan restaurant in town - Edit
7 of us for the Monday Locals Dinner special (soup, salad, entree for $19.) Despite the seemingly new waitstaff, we had a great dinner. Cauliflower bites were yummy and we enjoyed the sauces. Soups were enjoyable (Approaching Nirvana was the group favorite.) Entrees we’re also enjoyable and good portion sizes. However the noodle free lasagna was extremely garlicky so it was hard to get a sense of any other flavor. And the spinach with the ravioli had too much garlic to eat.
Read moreStaff was very helpful with food allergies, and it was great to have so many gluten free options.
We were all excited for chocolate cake but it seemed about half the dessert options on the menu were unavailable. What we ended up with was good, not amazing. Could’ve used a bit more umph (lemon in the blueberry cheesecake for instance would’ve really elevated it.) Very nice that none of the desserts were overly sweet.
Street parking. Heated outdoor seating (year round), accepted reservations. Food came out sporadically, but likely the result of new staff.
Wonderful having a whole food vegan option in the area! So many vegan places serve greasy dishes with fake meats. Not here😄Probably not a place for omnis though. I don’t think the food is elevated enough to appeal to more traditional taste buds.

What a phenomenal meal!!! I went with the very lovely server’s recommendation and had the “Shakshuka with Plant Eggs and Multi grain Bread for Dipping”. My Fiancé had the “Chick'N Parmesan with Pasta” and we shared the pot stickers! We ended up bringing home some of each! 10 out of 10!!

Underwhelming - Edit
We had three different entrées and two sides. The seitan gyro was solid. I just thought cherry tomatoes and frise were an odd choice to top it.l with. The onion rings were good. The rainbow fries was an odd match, 3 different root veggies all with different textures. The golden mushroom scampi sounded great, but the cook on the mushrooms wasn't great. The kids spaghetti and meatballs was a flop. We were psyched to eat at a vegan spot, just disappointed with the food.

Updated Review - Edit
I rarely give five stars on here, but this is definitely five stars! We tried it out for the first time last night and were blown away by the quality of the food, as well as the presentation. The charcuterie board was a real treat and beautifully presented. It was a wonderful mix of plant-based cheese, olives, dried fruit, various crackers, vegan meat, roasted tomatoes, artichoke hearts, and even some flowers. It was a perfect split for two people. We also had the mushroom gnocchi as an entree. The flavor was so perfectly savory, and I don't know what they use for the parmesan but it was GOOD. For dessert, we got the sundae. I would say this was a post-modern interpretation of a sundae because there was not actual vegan ice cream involved. It was whipped cream, shaved chocolate, chocolate sauce, bananas, raspberries, and edible metallic bits. Whatever you name this dessert, it was excellent!
Read moreUpdate Spring 2023: I have now been here three times. The first time was amazing and I gave a five star review. The last two times in Summer 2022 and Spring of 2023 have been very hit or miss to the point where I can't say this place is five star anymore. I really want to like V-Spot, but it feels like gambling when you order because the quality is so inconsistent. The potstickers, bread basket, and chocolate pie were good on our recent visit. The meatloaf and tortellini were okay, but I would stay away from the vegan fish and chips altogether. I hope they can streamline the menu so we will know where to find the gems! This place has potential.

Needs improvement - Edit
I really want this restaurant to survive so I offer this as constructive criticism. Of the four times I've been here, I've found the food to be "missing" something. It's not at all bad but feels incomplete, like it needs more seasonings or fat or...something. I hope it improves.

Cool with a sprinkle of weird - Edit
Really nice to have such an abundance of vegan options. The "crab' cakes were delicious and I had leftovers which was cool. Vegan cheesecake was really fab!
Read moreThe "calamari" was clearly breaded mushroom stumps, which definitely have a chewy texture and I love that they are using all parts of the mushroom, but taste-wise was underwhelming. Cool idea though. Skip these and go for the vegan samosas.
The only thing I didn't love was there was a live guitar player, which sounds cool, but it's such a small place, that my husband and I literally couldn't have a conversation because it was so loud...and like kinda awkward becuase we felt obligated to clap after each song but we were secretly wishing he would just turn off his amp.
Idk, kinda made the date weird.
Good food. Werid vibes.

I had a basic stir fry that was very good. It was similar to what you would get in a Chinese food restaurant but not loaded with a ton of greasy sauce. Tasted clean with some bites of fresh ginger. They had brown rice and used olive oil, both a huge plus. I also got the Mediterranean salad for later and that was very good. It was watercress which was good and unusual.
