Nothing special

I had the mushroom fried rice. It tasted oily and not really flavorful. Also there were hardly any vegetables inside. Seems pretty overpriced

Lunch and dinner at V-sherry

We had lunch and dinner on different days here. We found the food quiet delicious and oily. Luckily, it was close to our hotel in the ancient city. Some of the foods such as the buckwheat cake have egg in them which we found out the second time. So beware!

Pros: A few vegan options , Friendly staff, Close to ancient city and reasonable price

Cons: Very few vegan options( 5-6 only), Food is oily , Nine of staff speaks English

Best food I had in Lijiang

This isn't a great city for vegans, so I was happy to find this place and ate here repeatedly. They have some vegan options and options that can be made vegan, and let me try good local food. I went to two locations, the food was identical though so I'm combining the reviews and photos.

Good Yunnan food

V-Sherry has some restaurants in lijiang (we saw already 3 of them). It is a good opportunity to get local food although the restaurant is not vegetarian /vegan.
The Staff is really friendly and helps ordering vegetarian food.
Make sure to be there on time to avoid waiting times, because it is really popular😄

Pros: tasty, local, good prices

Cons: Not vegetarian

Great staff

The staff is great and you can tell them if you want a dish without meat. Location overlooks the busy shopping street, it has two floors

Pros: The staff is very nice , Menu items can be modified

Cons: Not many vegan options

Authentic Yunnan cuisine

Interior is very rustic and inviting.

The wild mushroom fried rice is very original.
