Let down - no flavor or creativity - Edit
V-Eats used to be great and I looked forward to going there. I moved away and it’s been a couple years but was excited to dig in tonight. Ordered the Buffalo sandwich and when I got it it was a barely firm slab of rectangular tofu lightly friend and dipped in Buffalo sauce. There was no care or quality put into it and I was pissed off after that first bite. Literally the tofu was not seasoned or brined or anything and fell apart fast because it wasn’t firm. Fully let down and bums me out because I loved going here for brunch. I guess they’ve gone the way of just putting out garbage and serving up imposible burgers. Also how they operate out of a BBQ joint so hopefully they are being extra careful with cross contamination.

It's ALL amazing. Seriously. - Edit
Never had a Chef Troy dish that did not completely floor me. He is genius. We've been there for special events, weekend afternoons, dinner servings, and literally tried everything. Salads are amazing. Main dishes are amazing. Dessert is amazing. Just get all of it. Not even kidding.

Awesome Vegan Food - Edit
Love this place. Great find in Dallas.
Read moreI've been here several times and love the barbeque sandwich and chili dog are two of my favorites. Troy is an amazing chef and I've even met his mom as she wandered the dining room meeting the diners. Awesome people. Wish I got to Dallas more often.

Great Find in Dallas! - Edit
We were passing though Dallas and planned to stop at V-Eats. It was a great atmosphere for a date night, and it was very clean! We had great service, and thought our waitress was very attentive. My partner ordered the Chili Cheesy Burger, but wasn’t blown away. The bean patty was definitely frozen and not homemade. However, he thought the Cauliflower Mac N’ Cheese and the State Fair Weather burger sounded better and wished he had ordered one of those options! I had The Salad and it was very good! I highly recommend to anyone passing through the Dallas area.

Quaint & Lovely Set Up, But Menu Was Meh - Edit
First, I want to say the three stars came from the menu and menu only. The location, decor inside the restaurant, customer service, and beverages (try their lemonades) were all great! However, my fiancé and I do not consume soy, and their menu is swimming in it...even some of the sauces. We landed on the Chicknun sandwich, yankee style. It was okay, but we weren't blown away. If you do eat soy, then I'm confident that you'll enjoy the food here, just wasn't for us.

Cons: Too much soy, menu needs expansion

Nice for a night out - Edit
The place was nice and had pretty good food. The service was great and the person taking care of us was pretty knowledgeable about the menu and options. The prices are high, but, that’s basically true for the whole area.

Delightful! - Edit
I’m a business traveler and usually eat with my omnivorous colleagues, but sometimes I sneak off to find a place with only the food I’ll eat. I’m so glad I picked V-eats! It was such a cozy atmosphere and a friendly staff. The service was excellent! So many delicious options I had to ask my server to help me narrow it down. I had the avocado spring rolls. Aaaaahmazing! Served with a generous portion of leafy greens! And the winter pesto pasta for my meal. Outstanding! Fresh, flavorful and big portions! I’ll be back next time I’m in Dallas!

Phenomenal - Edit
I ate dinner here after discovering them at the 2018 Texas Vegfest. Their “wings” looked amazing but they had sold out at the festival. I ordered them at the restaurant and they were phenomenal! We had 2 burgers as well and OMG, delicious. The place is a bit pricey, so consider it for date night. I love the area!

Disappointed - Edit
I was really looking forward to trying this place based on all the positive reviews. The nachos were really tasty and a huge portion! Disappointed with the other items we ordered the fried chick-non sandwich was terrible it was so chewy and difficult to bite through it because of its strange texture, the fries were covered in cinnamon which I didn’t expect as they just say fries on the menu so I didn’t like them. Also ordered the country fried steak plate with the deep fried impossible patty and it was ok flavour wise just soggy from the gravy.

Amazing atmosphere-both inside and out. Kombucha, while it comes in a very small glass, is always excellent. The Strawberry Basil mock-tail will blow your mind. Service is very slow. Brunch options are both creative and delicious.

Great Food, a little pricey - Edit
Love the atmosphere, I wish they had table service, especially for the price. The burgers were really good. Mac and cheese was okay, the fries had cinnamon on them which made them kind of weird. Menu was not as big as I would have liked

We've stopped here while traveling several times, and loved it every time. This is not McDonald's, it's a sit down restaurant. So yeah the food takes about 10 - 20 minutes. In my opinion TOTALLY worth the wait.

Worth every penny - Edit
While not expensive, V-Eats is a littler pricier than what I usually spend at restaurants. No need to hesitate. Not only is it worth it, it's a bargain. Every bite was so flavorful. Presentation is top notch. Staff and owner oozed quality service. I felt like I was in 5 star, fancy restaurant, which is why they deserve every star.

I liked going here but man this place is too slow. Not sure how this place is still in business with how slow it is and how small the kitchen is (their words). No takeout on their busy days.
Read moreFood is great, don’t get me wrong. But I’ve since stopped going after multiple times of being disappointed in their service.
I bet if they move out of that “up and coming” area (lol not a chance) into a place with a larger kitchen, they could actually thrive in the vegan food scene.
Pros: Lots of brunch options , Tasty food, 100% vegan
Cons: SLOW, Expensive, No takeout

Super Yum! But.... - Edit
The food was really good... however - it took forever and a day to get our food (not busy). They nickel and dime you for everything. I asked for a smidge more bleu cheese for my sandwich I ordered and that one wipe across my bun was $2.00! I had to use the restroom (only one toilet) which is awkwardly placed at the kitchen entrance and the waiter told me to go sit down and wait at my table (where I couldn’t see from) because there might be someone coming through. When I finally got to use the restroom I couldn’t come out because some waitress decided it was more important to chit chat about friggin lemons and how she likes cold lemons not warm lemons. Oh good lawd. Then 4 more staff slowly passed and I eventually had to tell some chef walking by me “I just want to come out!”
