There are not many options in the city for food so I can not say it is bad but the food is definitely not worth the money. The soup was okay but the rolls were soft and soggy. Vegetables were plain and dry. Their croissants are however very nice.

Indescrivibile l’ospitalità e gentilezza di Robert il proprietario. Locale davvero caratteristico, perfetto per le colazioni con torte e brioche vegan buonissime. Ampissima scelta di cappuccini vegetali! Davvero un MUST. Ci si può anche cenare su prenotazione, proverò a più presto.

Amzing restaurant in the centre of Parma. Even though communication in English was difficult, the host treated me really well and we managed to understand eachother. The menu is indeed handwritten which amazed me. As it mentions the exact day, I suppose it changes often/daily. The dishes seemed all freshly prepared and I enjoyed the whole grain pasta. I was all alone in the restaurant so could pick a seat outside on the terrace.

While listening to relaxing classic jazz, I got a dinner menu that was literally hand written. It had the items to order and a few inspirational quotes. Other than some pizzas, it seemed to be very vegan. I ordered a quinoa burger. It used quinoa as a base but had other veggies mixed in. It did not come with a bun (for those of you who fear gluten or carbs), but it did come with sauteed veggies to fill up the plate. Every bite of the burger was a medley of flavors. I could taste each individual veggie in the patty, indicating it was made from fresh whole food veggies while remaining delicious: no sacrificing the flavor, and also no filler and no processed junk like you see in so many American veggie burgers. And to top it off, they had an organic saisan beer to sip while I soaked in the fabulous jazz playing in the background. When I got the bill I was happy to see no cover charge. Nice!

My girflriend and I spent a day in Parma and had lunch at the V-Bar. We really liked the place. There is a lot of choice, the salads are amazing and the owners very friendly. If you're looking for vegan food or even just a healthy meal this is the place to go!
