Decent vegan options - Edit
Utopia had very friendly staff and decent vegan options available during July 2023. Although the dishes could be better labeled in the menu, the staff knew what's in them and happily answered questions.

Be Careful Ordering the Vegan Options! - Edit
The starter of three dips (hummus, guacamole & red pepper tapenade) was very good, although it was served with a pack of dairy butter! The main “Buddha bowl” style dish was rather bland & they served it with pastry sticks, which upon asking, turned out to be non vegan, ie: made with butter! The waitress was really sweet, but sadly knew nothing about vegan food, even though both these dishes were clearly labeled ´vegan’.

Great food, substantial portions for a very reasonable price, and various vegetarian and vegan options. On top of that, the service was very nice. Totally recommended!

This place is located in the same building as the movie theater Utopia, so it's nice to have clearly labelled vegan options before going see a movie.

Best spot in Bordeaux - Edit
This was the best spot I found in Bordeaux that wasn't a salad or super healthy place to eat with non-vegans. They had a good range of vegan options on the menu, including breakfasts, mains, desserts and sharing plates. Also great cocktails. Only issue we had was we went one evening, sat down and began to order and they said they weren't doing the mains in the evening and only the sharing plates so we couldn't get a full meal, but went back for lunch the day after to try the main. I am not sure if it was just a temporary thing but they could have made it clearer as the menus were still out.
