A nice spot for a vegan traveling with non-vegans. Several brunch options and great drink options. Interior was cute and service was great.

Great vegan brunch menu - Edit
I would have given all the stars for atmosphere and food. Entire vegan menu looked great, and the vegan avo and tomato Benedict had an entire avocado half on each muffin half. But but but the avocado wasn’t ripe (I could barely dent it with my fork) so I couldn’t eat it.

A great little spot! - Edit
I came here with my non-vegan brother for brunch. We LOVED it! It’s small, but beautifully decorated with a great menu. They do not take reservations for brunch, but the wait wasn’t too long. We shared the Kimchi & Veggie Mandu as an appetizer. There are a lot (10 pieces) and we couldn’t finish them, but we really enjoyed them! I had the Avocado, Roasted BEET Hummus Toast with a side of tofu bacon. It was delicious! And the maple late with soy milk…yum!!

Okish - Edit
They had eggs Benedict but they used that nasty fake egg with the yolk. It tastes bad and I’d take flavor over a gimmick. Just egg or even tofu would’ve been better. Sides and espresso was good.

Unlikely Delicious Korean Fusion - Edit
I turned to UT47 after watching our show because we needed a late-night dinner spot that offered strong vegan options. Lucky for me, they absolutely delivered in that regard.
Read moreThis late night bar features a plethora of Korean options that would satisfy anyone. Aside from fancy drinks, there was a strong selection of dosirak meals for dinner that we all decided to go in on.
Mine included soy meat bulgolgi over rice with a vegan egg, served with a side of veggie gyoza, beansprouts, and pickled cucumbers. My meal came inside a large bentou box and I gotta say, it was a lot of food even for someone that was ready to ravage some morsels near midnight. The rice had such a great blend of flavors and the bulbolgi tasted just like how I remembered it once upon a time ago.
Being at night, service ended up being a bit slower but I don't blame them since it was mostly one or two individuals serving the entire bar. Be prepared for a small wait if you order food at night.
I'd definitely return again if I wanted to enjoy some late night Korean in a very relaxed environment.

Food AND Service - Edit
I can’t tell which is better, the food or service. We came in around noon on a Saturday. While it looked packed they were able to seat us the bar within 2-3 minutes of coming in, coffees served quick and the food was out in no more than 10 minutes.

Omg. Where do I start. I’m so impressed by the food, flavor, and service. Absolutely amazing and the best place we have eaten so far in NYC. The food everywhere else is not as good as this place. Absolutely amazed and I would fly back here from Texas just to come here again. Yes. Just yes.
