Eje 2 sur No 72, Col Condesa, Local E - Sobre Juan Escutia (at Juan Escutia), Mexico City, Mexico, 06140

All the food is vegan with the option of making it vegetarian by adding cheese (the only animal product that they use). Is famous for their hamburgers and tacos, which are always on the menu. Has muffins and chilaquiles with soy sausage for breakfast. Offers a new specialty every day, including falafel, pozole, pambazos, milanesa cakes, enmoladas, entomatado de soya, special tacos, vegetarian lasagna and others. Beer is served until 5:00 pm and two different drinks to choose from served in a jar. All food is made fresh daily. Atmosphere is that of conviviality and varied music. Is eco-friendly and uses only recyclable paper, cardboard and aluminum. Has a board with a list of dog adoptions from the shelter Adopt a Friend Forever. Open Mon-Fri 10:00am-8:00pm. Could possibly be open later, so please inquire before going.

Delicious food, casual place, nice people - Edit

I had the daily special, which was vegan pozole — hard to find! The other daily specials also sound delicious. Very nice people who speak a little English (Spanish too of course). Casual seating at a long table in a small area. Recommended!

Pros: Nice daily specials, Friendly people, Casual place

Cons: Not 100% vegan
