Rare Vegan options in Queens - Edit
Place has an artistic vibe. Dine in had Chefs V Shroom Steak (I love mushrooms), with mashed potato with skin and broccoli. Very good, a bit pricey. Tried Muse mushroom drink first time (not my favorite, coffee is more my speed), and Mississippi mud cake (smallish slice, but very dense and filling). To go had Big Bando Breakfast Burrito, perfectly wrapped to eat on the plane. Would go back again since the menu is quite varied.

If you get a chance to try the salmon wow it is good! Flaky, flavorful, soft, it is really delicious. I was skeptical, I've never had any mock seafood quite on that level.

I ordered the chick un & waffles. The waffles were fine, very soggy. We ordered delivery so they may have come out crispy and gotten soggy being in a box. The aioli didn’t have much of a flavor, but the maple syrup is good. The “chicken” is good, but the pieces are a bit small. A little pricey for what it is.
Husband ordered the loaded mac and cheese. It was good! The bacon was delicious. Expensive for the size. It’s filling, but I would expect larger portions.
I would definitely go back, and would re order everything but the waffles!

We ordered a pizza. Sadly it was quite small and the taste wasn’t as good as expected. One pizza was way too spicy and the other one tasted a bit blend. So sad because this company has a nice variety of dishes.

My friend and I went for the first time, and split several dishes: Buffalo Cauliflower, BBQ wings, garlic broccoli, mushroom empanadas and some chocolate chip tahini cookies. Everything was so good! The cauliflower wasn't my favorite, but I don't eat much fried food, but the flavors on everything was so good!! I'd definitely go back! The cookies were the perfect level of sweetness and were so tasty!

Lovely space with lots happening. Brings a lot to the community... However the food is just not great. Empanada with unmelted shreds of vegan cheese... Pizza with undercooked dough. It would honestly be fine if it wasn't an exceptionally expensive place for the area but it is. Either prices need to change or quality needs to go up.

This is one of the few vegan restaurants in Queens. Yet even if it were in a more densely populated vegan area, this place would be a standout. The food is very creative. I had a vegan scallopini and a mac-and-cheese, my friend had a “warrior” sandwich 🥪, and everything was delicious. The portions were a bit small, so you might need to plan to get a main and an appetizer.
Read moreThe setting is quite nice: clean, and roomy, with a funky type of décor (see photos) and /R&B/soul music playing (softly) in the background; evidently, they also have live music 🎼 on certain nights. The servers were very friendly and helpful. The food here is by no means cheap, but not ridiculously priced, either.
Although not located in a touristic part of the city, this venue is close to a subway stop that is a 10-minute ride 🚊 from Manhattan (15 minutes from Grand Central).

Really cool spacious location in Astoria with friendly staff loads of rock n roll, hip hop & pop iconography everywhere. Had the Buffalo chik’n sandwich (made w/ seitan) & added some avocado. Had a side of hand-cut fries & they were fresh but definitely heavily salted. I would rather add the salt myself. Still, a very hearty lunch & I would come back here! The menu is substantial & has an all-day breakfast as well.

Awesome restaurant with varied options and the best fried pickles I've ever had - Edit
We came here on a Monday night while they didn't have any events going on, so it wasn't too busy. The service was very friendly, and all of the food that we tried was delicious. We have been to some of their other locations and this one was just as good, if not better! The highlight for me were the fried pickles, which were somehow the most delicious I've ever had! I would come back just for the pickles, the cherry on top is the rest of the delicious menu. Other things we tried were the Korean wings and the BLT. Next time we come back, we are hoping to see some of the live music.
