Really good food, great to find vegan options in a German place! - Edit
First of all, the space is adorable, full of German tchotchkes and vintage beer ads- there's also a nice outdoor space with a view of the St. John's bridge. There are at least three great vegan options on the menu, clearly labeled- one is, well, one's a salad, but the chicken schnitzel and pretzel wurst are also there for the taking-
Read moreI had the vegan chicken schnitzel basket- it consisted of a truly beautiful, fresh salad, a heap of battered fries, chicken schnitzel (vegan chicken fingers, beer-battered), and a side of vegan ranch. The fries were truly out of this world and the salad and vinaigrette were also very nice.
Next time I'll get the soft pretzel with a vegan sausage in it!
Staff was awesome and friendly and we'll definitely be back. Boyfriend is a lover of all things German so finding a place where I could eat was a coup.
Pros: Cute decor/atmosphere, Beautiful view from the deck, Several delicious vegan options!

I've Had Wurst - Edit
We ordered the Vegan Schnitzel and the Vegan Wurst. The Schnitzel includes two sunflower cutlets with pommes frites, salad, and vegan ranch. However, we received chicken tenders instead of cutlets. The Wurst is a Bratwurst-style vegan sausage on a roll. Both meals were fine, but nothing special.

Pros: vegan section on menu, outdoor seating
Cons: only two vegan options, taxidermy

Schnitzel and Brats! - Edit
Really good vegan wurst with a pretzel bun, spicy brown mustard, and kraut. It seemed like a beyond brat, very good toppings. The fries here are absurdly good, the vegan schnitzel was good but I really just wanted a huge basket of those fries.
Read morePros: Good vegan wurst with authentic toppings, Giant beer steins, Friendly service
Cons: A few more vegan options would be nice

Fun German style pub with vegan options - Edit
We were in the mood for a schnitzel and found this gem next to Cathedral park offering vegan schnitzel and bratwursts. Solid German beer selection 🍻 try the Hofbräu original...
