Urban Fish

So this place doesn't look like much from the outside but this small joint is well with visiting. For starters the menu is so creative and exciting. Lots and lots of vegan options. Portion sizes are really big so great value for money. Food was delicious and came quite fast. I had the tofu scramble with spuds, guacamole and biscuits/gravy and it was delicious. We also had the cheesecake which was great. We didn't see this but there's also an option to order a vegan or non-vegan mystery mean which is so fun. They also offer vegan fish and chips.

The single server was a little harried looking, but he perked up with a few nice comments and a smile. Must have been a rough morning. I ordered a simple basket of vegan fish and chips (it’s tofu) and some braised kale. Oh my goodness. I don’t know how long it has been since I’ve had the flavors of tartar sauce, lemon, and vinegar. I’m a Midwest girl, and fish fry is in my blood. It was awesome!

I think this place hasn't been reviewed yet because no one wants it to get busier! There is limited seating so people had to wait outside to get a table. My girlfriend wanted fish and this was the perfect place to go for us. I had the Tofu Fish and Chips with a side of braised kale. I haven't eaten fish and chips in over 20 years since going vegan and this was exactly how I remembered it! My only regret was that I couldn't finish, so much food!
