Good Vegan Burrito - Edit
I enjoyed my vegan burrito, but felt it could have had some sauce inside to give it a bit more flavor.

I couldn't believe there was a 24 hour bar/cafe in Phoenix. I was even more excited to hear they served vegan options. I got the date shake which was delicious. They don't have many gluten free options dessert wise unfortunately. The staff is very friendly and quite funny.

Yes, I will get out of bed at 3:00 AM for a jackfruit sandmich with homemade bbq sauce
and fresh salad.
What's not to like about UB? I am impressed, and aside from finding a strand of hair in my food, I would visit again. Love the bread. I'm not sure if it's considered ciabatta but it's very similar.
Only wish the baked sweets grew on me as much, but none of them tasted all that great. I'll try again later.

Vegan Jackfruit Torta is Worthwhile - Edit
I had a delicious vegan Jackfruit Torta from here. It was served with potato chips. Great flavor in the torta dish. There wasn't a great selection of vegan items or vegan desserts when I was there, so I haven't been back. I am willing to give them another try some day.

I think these are the same people that cooked at Aside of Heart because the food is simply delicious and has that same funky flair I remember.
If you're veg, you'll love this little place :)

Decent local coffee shop and wine bar - Edit
I used to frequent Urban Beans to get work done during the day. It has a nice relaxed atmosphere and good coffee. There was always one vegan scone available (always delicious), as well as a couple vegan menu items.
They turn it into a wine bar at night. I'm not a fan of wine, so I can't really comment on that portion of the business. But it's a nice local place to stop in for a cup of coffee and do some computing.
