Horrible place if you value professionalism, cleanliness and lawfulness. At first it is great, but then the onion layers start peeling. The owner is very pro equality. Being green is ok, but they need guidance on the basics.
Heard her be very open about hiring an undocumented worker, (server Sahile* sp) not paying payroll taxes. Can hear her talking negatively about employees how they are bad workers, workers continue to walk out or disrespect her, hungover at work etc. She degrades the servers behind their backs, talks about their medical diagnosis, autism, sexuality and how she cant trust certain servers to even clean the case or change the trash.

You can see into the kitchen when inside, and from outside thru the window, the floors and equipment are not clean,


I heard she's talking to a realtor looking to move to a smaller place, but I'm not optimistic that will raise the standards of cleanliness and professionalism. Her passive aggressiveness is just off the wall and she is always posting help wanted ads. Must be a lot of turnover there!

If you're 100% vegan, beware, staff confirms the kitchen is not 100% cleaned between batches of non vegan items, and there were multiple times cream cheese frosting was accidentally put on ve
gan cupcakes or bundt cakes and for sale in the case until they caught the mistake, but still sold them.

Also heard the owner speaking badly about the mchenry vegan group, and a local sanctuary and how vegans are the worst, that she makes her money from non vegans by using the word "traditional" to fool them.
