I have a lot of nostalgia from this place when I was little, but I was sad to find that it wasn’t really as good of an experience as an adult, especially a vegan one. I was relegated to the impossible burger, the only vegan item on the menu. It was sub par. Come on, Uno, start the vegan pizza revolution in McHenry!

Apparently I was looking over an outdated menu when I called to order because I was told that they no longer carry the vegan garden pizza and they don’t have any vegan cheese. I ordered a Beyond Burger and wasn’t entirely disappointed, the bun was good and I really liked the fries. This was my first trip to Deep Creek and I’m sensing that it’s not a very vegan friendly city. With that being said, for this being one of two places to get a vegan meal I think it deserves 3 stars ⭐️

Two choices of outdoor seating: choose the deck if you like craft beer or choose the patio if you like tiki inspired cocktails. Both places have lots of drink options and share the same food menu. Due to Covid-19, the vegan menu was no longer offered but they could still make thin crust pizza with your choice of veggies and vegan cheese. It was really good! Please note the deep dish pizza crust contains cheese.

The menu has a separate vegan section, as well as a vegetarian section. The vegan section has two salads, two vegan pizzas, and a Beyond burger. The pizzas are highly customizable, with vegan cheese options. The place has a pleasant atmosphere and great service. Definitely worth supporting!
