can’t really recommend tbh - Edit
(personally, i am not the biggest fan of deep-dish pizza so i may be biased) only offers deep-dish. staff is knowledgeable and aware of vegan options. pizza was pretty pricey. i did not really like the taste, the sauce and vegan cheese was ok but the crust was kinda sweet. the croutons on the salad are also not vegan. i would recommend going to a smaller restaurant and not the big chains.

Vegan deep dish - Edit
Enjoyed the deep dish vegan pizza option. Could have used a bit more flavor in the sauce and a bit more cheese but overall definitely a good pick and thankful they had vegan options. Very friendly staff.

Flavorless crust, flavorless sauce. I make better pizza in my house. Also, website does not reflect their menu. They didn’t have any beyond burger nor any indication that they had vegan cheese, I had to ask. They did have diaya. I personally think this should be removed from happy cow lol

UNO Pizzaria - Edit
I used to eat at this UNO Pizzeria before I was vegan (which was 15+ years ago when I was only vegetarian) and preferred this pizza over all the other big players in the Chicago deep dish market such as Gino's, Lou Malnati's, etc. UNO's definitely had the better crust. Since being vegan I was really limited to salads and pasta -- modified to be vegan -- when dining with my friends. These were all fine options, but now that UNO's offers vegan pizza, this is a game changer, as vegans now can enjoy UNO's delicious deep dish pizza crust with vegan cheese. These pizza's can be quite heavy, so make sure you order an appropriate size. So happy this option exists now!

The staff was very friendly, and they have vegan cheese which was great! I do prefer regular pizza over deep dish, but it was fun to try it out!
