Love The Vibe - Edit
Loved the punk rock vibes and aesthetic of the restaurant. Unmeat has cool edgy dark branding, hip classic alternative rock tunes and friendly nonconformists staff. The menu is standard veganized fast food fare but props to this crew for making their vision a reality.

It was so difficult deciding what to get, as so many things looked appetising. In the end we chose the currybanger and chips, and rosti vacon burger.
Read moreThe currybanger was a great firm sausage texture, sauce not too spicy but i would prefer sauce on the side because it was drenched. The chips were delicious, crispy but not oily, and good seasoning.
The rosti was like a hash brown and vacon was delish thick slices, not bacon texture but smoky.
I wanted to go back to try the vish and chips, pretty sad didn't get a chance to.

Offers a variety of burgers, hot dogs and a salad. This place is good. It seemed popular with locals. I tried the bratwurst which was an exceptionally good / convincing replacement. Burgers looked a little small. Expensive place but perhaps this is not too expensive relative to other places in Zurich!

The orders are usually prepared fast and fresh. However, the price increase in the last few months has been very big and leaves a sour taste. Also, kinda obvious, but the food isn't very healthy.

I've tried most sides and burgers, and it's clearly a carefully curated menu. Buns, sauces, and ingredients are carefully paired for an amazing experience. Checking the website, I found a ton about their environmental considerations in all aspects of the business, even more awesome!

We went there because it’s a Vegipass partner and it was an excellent new find! We had two burgers, the loaded fries and two milkshakes, both the vanilla and the strawberry one were amazing!! I loved my rösti & vacon burger, it was so delicious😍 The only negative point in my opinion is that they serve the food in single use packaging and single use plastic cups even if you dine in, but that’s often the case for fast food places. The restaurant also has its own merchandise which looked really nice!

This was probably our very first visit to a completely vegan burger joint, and it was just a blast.
Read moreClean and nice interior design. If you come from a conservative culture, be aware of the English curse words on some of the signs. It wasn't the best burgers (nothing beats homemade burgers so far :)), but the fries were the bomb and the price is actually OK for Switzerland and quantity-wise it was A-OK. I really appreciate that they make sustainability a main thing.
