Universo Vegano - Solferino

A really good set of options. Very much on the cheap and cheerful side with the main options being burgers, sandwiches, pizza and salad.

Food was nice and the staff were great.

23 euros for dinner, including drinks, is very reasonable.

This place had quite an extensive menu and we picked a burger and lasagna, along with a smoothie and a beer.

The smoothie was freshly prepared, but the other food seemed to be deep frozen and quickly warmed up for us. It was not bad but also nothing special, and for what we got we had the impression that it was expensive.

I had a tasty fresh juice, a wonderful vegan gluten free risotto, and then was overwhelmed by the vegan gluten free tiramisu - a desert I hadn't been able to enjoy for years... I must have asked 3 times if the cookie in the tiramisu is really gluten free, and the very friendly owner explained patiently with the help of an english cellphone dictionary that the flour is especially made for the restaurant.

Pizza was awful, burger was flabby and tasteless!!!

We were really happy that we found this place. It looks friendly at the first glance. The staff were so kind, food + drinks delicious and not expensive and the cakes... WOW!

A very picturesque spot by the river. Staff were very friendly and lots of options.
I had the big smokey burger which was nice and filling and a delicious fresh smoothie.

We visited the Navigli branch and had the special spicy sandwich. Very satisfying and affordably priced. The menu is extensive and the staff was polite and helpful. One recommendation I would make is to include a few more restaurant-styled items on the menu as I believe the chain has the opportunity to succeed as a more formal venue given the quality of its food.

We arrived in Milan at about 9:30 and we made this great find near our hotel. The food was scrumptious, the service was quick and friendly. Do not miss Universo Vegano - Solferino if you are in Milan.

What you get is something really tasty and also quick. The furniture reminded me of a cafe. Nothing negative necessarily. Lots of options and nice beverages.

The atmosphere was relaxed with very friendly staff. The food was very good, tasty and well presented.

I often pop in for a meal: it’s a popular vegan fast food chain in Italy. Good atmosphere, tasty food, quick service and helpful staff.

We are here 3 times during our 4 day stay in Milan. The mushroom pizza was so tasty and I preferred the pizzas to the burger that I had. We both had a dessert 2 out of 3 times and enjoyed them although there was more choice in Parma. Staff were friendly. We also had a banana and apple smoothie which I can recommend. The cola is fine too.

very nice staff. cozy place. great burger. pizza and orecchetti were also great! the very best were the lasagne and the chocolate tartufo! prices are quite cheap.

I came here on a recommendation and glad I made the 30min walk from the Cathedral. The walk itself is nice, passing some canals and bustling eateries.

Universo vegan serves up tasty fast food style cruelty free food. I had the vegan burger option, with Violife vegan cheese and egg free mayo: it was lovely!

The woman serving was also very nice, a really welcoming and friendly Italian woman who was helpful when I asked where I could find Vegan Olive Oil based Ice Cream (it exists!).

Highly recommend this place for any vegans wishing to indulge in a fast food like healthy meal
