Tasty, fresh, accommodating - Edit
I emailed the Union Street Cafe before arriving, asking what their vegan options were and they said: "...the Falafel is an option, and the Peanut Noodles, the Veg, tacos, the Popcorn Cauliflower, Sesame Salad, the Union Street Bowl (take off the chicken and sub tofu), and Beet Salad (without goat cheese). Sometimes the Sandwich of the week, or the Soup of the Day, will be, or be able to be altered to suit."
Read moreI had their ginger peanut noodles with tofu and they used primarily in-season vegetables and the sauce was delicious!
Pros: Uses local ingredients as much as possible , Cool vibes, Great outdoor patio

Good for Berwick! - Edit
This is a great café, FAB music venue too! Undergoing a complete redecorating time-out until March 2014.
Read moreSad to report the veg/vegan options are dwindling... Too bad, as their food is really good & these choices are sorely missed. Plus, it is the only decent restaurant in Berwick. Hope they start to have more vegan meals!

Cons: Far less veg/vegan choices than before., NO LONGER open on Sundays.
