This little hole in the wall cafe is hard to find but is a hidden gem of Melbourne’s laneways.

Their mushroom, basil, spinach and mozzarella is to die for, as is their avocado, vegemite and cheese. The little sprinkle of salt added to the top of each jaffle is the cherry on top of what are awesome jaffles.
Their seating is limited, but that is to be expected with their tiny store. Resultantly, when busy, the wait for jaffles can be a little while, as they can only make so many jaffles at the one time. Definitely worth the wait no matter what though!!!

I had a coconut latte and a jaffle to go. The staff were friendly and helpful in making sure I could get something without onion and with protein for breakfast, and the food was generous and tasty.

Even though they operate in an alleyway, it feels like if someone invited you to their cozy kitchen and welcomed you with a hearty breakfast. Not just the food was delicious, but I had one of the best coffees in Melbourne. Don’t miss out on this great place and the friendly staff.😄

I love this tiny hole in the wall. The owners are lovely, the toasties are a great price with changing specials always exciting. So happy the move to ditch dairy is working well for them they are usually pretty busy!

Very good jaffles, several options, was hard to make a choice! Went for the avocado-vegemite. It was really good but too salty. The vegemite being very salty itself the additional salt on top of the jaffle was a bit too much.

But other than that it’s more than fair for a quick lunch or even breakie

The 1st time a friend tried to introduce me to jaffles at another place in Collingwood, it was a bit of a disaster. So when she heard about this place and tried it herself, she told me "Yep, that's the one! Finally proper jaffles!".
Read moreSo I tried it, and was happy with the result. I had the Avo+Vegemite and Mexican beans, it was really good. It reminded me a bit of the croque-monsieur of my childhood, but slightly different, and all vegan.
It's fairly priced, but given the fact there's hardly anywhere to sit, it's probably better for take away. I hope that it will be successful enough for them to open something a bit bigger.

Laneway location. I had one of the special jaffles, the one with chickn, gravy and cheeze, $9. The chicken is shredded jackfruit and good-tasting. It was served piping hot and was satisfyingly like a grilled-cheese sandwich. I brought away a piece of good carrot cake with icing, $5. Next time I had the mushroom-basil-spinach-mozzarella jaffle, good too, $8.

Discovered this little hidden gem yesterday, back for the 2nd day in a row. Not a huge coffee fan but can safely say this is the best coffee I’ve ever had. Delicious food. Decently priced. Lovely staff.
