My husband and I went on a Friday night, and the place was basically dead. I was worried that was a bad sign, but the food was good! I had the vegan “fishless” fish and chips. They were out of vegan tartar sauce but the regular one was fine. My husband had the portobello burger. He said it needed more flavor. The onion rings were great! The vegan slaw was totally underwhelming.

I appreciate that it is clear what is vegan on the menu, there are quite a few options so thats good! Our waitstaff has always been kind, knowledgeable about veganism, and accommodating. Great place to meet up with friends or family. I like the atmosphere and there is a reasonable amount of seating. I have had their pizza with no cheese and it was awesome, and I have had their fish and chips which was fabulous. Can’t wait to go back and try the other options.

Decent options, food itself fine - Edit
Several clearly labelled vegan options made Union Jack Pub an easy place to choose when looking for a place to eat. Unfortunately, the items that we had - the seitan wings, impossible philly, BBQ jackfruit sandwich - were only ok.

Vegan options - Edit
Was told that the bartender is vegan so that likely accounts for some of the quality of the options. At the end of the day it's bar food, but it's nice to have a mixture of options to cater to different dietary preferences.
