Serves meat, vegan options available. Live music venue and bar. The kitchen keeps on hand dairy-free cheese and makes breakfast-all-day food which includes a scrambled tofu, quesadilla and pizza with vegan cheese. Try the vegan reuben sandwich or the vegan Caesar salad. All desserts are vegan and 90% of products served are organic. SHUT DOWN 2018.

Really good Reuben - Edit
I went there to see what I have, not expecting too much, and it turned out to be really good. The place is very friendly - totally empty when I went, but it was late afternoon on a weekday. By recommendation of the owner, I had the vegan version of the tasting plate, and the vegan Reuben was by far the best of the different bits and pieces I had. It was so good that it will always make the name Reuben sound tasty for me. For dessert, they could only offer a cookie, but it was still warm and also really good. After the meal, it just happened that they had a film screening of a documentary about community gardening and home farming, with the director present (a Chicago local). I stayed for the discussion. Thoroughly enjoyable place.

Eat, drink and enjoy the show - Edit
My boyfriend and I went to Underground Wonder Bar for a quick bite and a cold beer after flying in to Chicago and got more than we hoped for. We had to pay to get in as shows were about to start. We set in one of the comfy booths and ordered vegan tortilla chips with Mexican layer dip and a Reuben sandwich along with a couple of cold beers. We got to listen to some cool music and spoken art and even got to meet the friendly owner Lonie. Is open till late and in central location.

Chicago's Best Live Music Venue - Edit
Some friends and I checked out Underground Wonder Bar and had an absolutely wonderful time. First we sat outside on their patio and ordered from their Vegan/ Vegetarian friendly menu. After we went into the bar and listened to some amazing bands. Overall, this is a great location to chill and vibe out. The staff was extremely friendly and the location is prime.
