Yay for Real Fruit Shaved Ice! - Edit
We tried a few shaved ice places on the island and found them all to be too artificially sweet. Clay’s uses real fruit so the treat is actually refreshing! Love that they have a tiny option size too. There’s a vegan cafe a few doors down to grab a bite to eat before the sweet treat!

Uncle Clay's - Edit
I thought Uncle Clay's HOPA was good and they offered some decent, unique flavors such as matcha and lilikoi. I wasn't blown away, but maybe that's because I didn't get to try any of the fancy options they had since they were made with dairy milk -- I can only have non-dairy. Overall though, this is a great place to stop at on a hot day to grab a treat and cool down.

The long line here is totally justified. It was great to find shave ice made with organic sugar (bone char free) and fruit, instead of questionable colouring and corn syrup.

So yummy, and refreshing.
Would be 5 stars, but I reserve the 5th star for vegan only places.
