An incredible week - Edit
I did a retreat at Unah and it was an amazing experience. The whole place is so beautiful, in the middle of the forest and right next to the river and the ocean. I stayed in a shared room for eight people and it was pretty spacious and always clean. When you arrive, they give you a welcome kit with shampoo, soap, and toothpaste since you can only use biodegradable products there. I didn't like the toothpaste, nor the sunscreen I bought at their shop from the same brand. But there are other brands and you can take your own biodegradable products. The retreat included breakfast, lunch, and dinner at their restaurant, which is also open to the community. The food was always delicious! For breakfast, there was a buffet, with options that changed daily, but always included two types of bread, two types of savory spreads, fruits, chia pudding, granola, a savory dish, two types of cake, and another sweet dish (usually oatmeal). Breakfast was my favorite meal of the day, so many tasty options! And everything really fresh, I was impressed. Lunch and dinner were also great. There was one option each day and you could only choose the size (normal or big). Juice was included but dessert was not. Most of the dishes had rice as a base and a side salad, but everything was quite varied. I liked some dishes more than others, of course, but there was nothing that I disliked. My favorite was probably the Friday night burger, it was so good! Well, the whole week was amazing. The retreat was packed with activities, but there was still plenty of time to enjoy every meal and nature. Definitely recommended!
