Un Punto Macrobiotico is part of an Italian macrobiotic restaurant chain offering healthy, basic organic food at popular prices. They usually have an all vegan menu, with some fish dishes offered twice a week. You can usually choose the macrobiotic plate, consisting of a lukewarm soup and a dish made up of two wholemeal cereals, salad, steamed veggies and legumes. They sometimes also offer some fancier food, such as some seitan dishes. Twice a week they also make macrobiotic pizza. Desserts are unfortunately not that appealing, since they are very basic and lack some sweetness. Please also note that it is not allowed to use your mobile phone, and that it is mandatory to pay an annual fee membership, which grants access to all "Un Punto Macrobiotico" restaurants around Italy.
Pros: popular prices and huge portions, top quality organic ingredients, healthy cuisine
Cons: desserts are not that appealing
