Fantastic vegan omelette - Edit
Went here several times. Tofu curry, vegan omelette and breakfast fruit bowls are fantastic. Mostly vegetarian dishes but the vegan ones are spot on

Best menu in town! - Edit
This place has the best menu in town. So many vegan options, ingredients listed clearly. Nice garden space. I couldn't decide what to eat.

Many vegan options - Edit
I visited this place twice, in both cases i was the only customer what was a pity and created a not-so-cozy-atmosphere. The food was okay, i would give three stars for it and one star in addition because the service was excellent.

Best vegan place in Pokhara - Edit
So fresh, so tasty, so many options! This place offers indoor and outdoor seating, extra friendly staff, very delightful foods and an abundance of drinks. Try their chocolate balls at the checkout but be careful, they are highly addictive...

Great Comfort Food - Edit
During our week in Pokhara, we visited Umbrella many times - lunch, dinner, and once for breakfast.
Read moreThe outdoor space at the front has several tables, covered by what I can only describe as one very large umbrella, which came in handy during the many evening thunderstorms while we were there. It’s beautifully laid out, and the area also houses a small shop, and yoga centre.
We worked our way through most of the vegan-friendly options on the menu, including two types of burger (I had one made with soya, which was delicious with their creamy cashew cheese sauce), the amazing sliced, fried potatoes with garlic tofu mayo, curry, chickpea omelette, pizza and more!
Location-wise, this is a great place to eat in before catching a 7pm film at the nearby Movie Garden.
The people working here are lovely and very attentive. Food and drinks are very good value.
Pros: Lots of vegan-friendly options, Great value for money, Lovely location and people
Cons: Not 100% vegan

Loads of vegan options - Edit
We visited this restaurant many times during our extended stay in Pokhara. We loved the fact that this place doesn’t only offer many vegan options, but also seems to have an ethical dimension regarding animal welfare with the lovely waiting staff wearing HART T-Shirts.
Read moreWe pretty much went through the menu and can particularly recommend the huge Vegan Burgers, the Perfect Roast Potatoes and the Vegan Omelettes. Sadly they never had the vegan chocolate cake while we were there!
This restaurant is also one of the best value places in Pokhara - neither adding an extra 13% tax or service charge (the service is great though, so make sure you use the sometimes well-hidden tip box!).
One of the best places in Pokhara for reliable vegan options.
Pros: Great vegan options, Lovely Space, Staff wear HImalayan Animal Rescue Team T-Shirts
Cons: Not entirely vegan

Cool but improve taste - Edit
Nice place to chill out, yoga classes, veg curries and international foods. I had the vegan stroganoff special and it could have done with a bit more seasoning/taste.

Good place - Edit
Vegan items were clearly marked on the menu and most things can be made vegan. Mains and entrees we tried were super yummy and my burger was massive. I ordered the special apple pie and it came out cold and felt like it was old. Maybe stay away from the special dessert but everything else was freshly made delicious

Bad experience - Edit
Only two staff serving a full restaurant, they were run off their feet. We waited nearly an hour and a half for our meals and when it finally came out it was disappointing. The food also came out at different times, so my boyfriend had nearly finished his burger by the time my pasta arrived. I had the carbonara which seemed to be missing half the ingredients described on the menu, and was really bland and dry. Have made way better pasta myself at home! Such a shame as the menu looks awesome, but I don’t trust that the food is as nice as it sounds. I don’t think we’ll bother giving it another try.

Nice restaurant - Edit
Been eating there quite a few times and I really like to do my own sallad. The sweets are super. And the staff! ^^ A bit smal portions need to order bread on the side. Had the burger and it was super dry. Nice atmosphere and the animals are the sweetest!

Beautiful place but not the best food. - Edit
The restaurant is looking beautiful, chill hippie style, the service is friendly, the menu is interesting but the food is served in small portions, and is not super tasty or fancy, I mean its good, but the few dishes I tryed was missing a bit of presentation and I wish the taste and textures would be more balanced.
Read moreI went there few times and the food experience was good but didn't match my expectations since I was expecting better from this beautiful and a bit pricy place. I will try again later to see the evolution.
Pros: Vegan options, Friendly staff, Cool hippy place

We loved Umbrella - Edit
We can only hope you're experience at Umbrella is as wonderful as ours were (plural!). The place is welcoming and friendly with lovely staff, it has a Canggu/Ubud feel to it. The food was so much fun and serving sizes were great! You can definitely sense that there is a lot of heart being poured out onto every plate here!
Read moreGorgeously Vegan foods that even the non-v will enjoy (guaranteed), and not overpriced. Most meals 2-350 rupees. Service charge already included.
We loved the potato chips (!!), sandwiches, raw balls (!!), burritos, and tofu mayonnaise (!), and really just wanted to try it all despite the health and veg cafe abundance in that area of Pokhara, Lakeside. A beautiful (not to mention fresh!!) break from lovely street momos and daal baht.
Give it a gooooo!

Not as good as we expected - Edit
The place is cute and have big potential.
Read moreWe went there 2 times and both were ok but not worth trying. The budda bowl was small, lacked love and taste. Beside the tofu that was too oily and sugary.
The pumpkin soup was big but had overpowering ginger taste, that I didn't like. Pumpkin curry was quite good but nothing special.
Pros: Lots of vegan option, decoration is nice, Nice servis
Cons: Quality is not the best , Unbalanced flavour , Expensive
