Came here to try the vegan menu and really really enjoyed my vegan grandma pizza pie!! Ate the entire thing! Can't wait to return and want to try more! Great vegan Margherita too
Really good vegan mozzarella sticks too!

Go to umbertos in Sayville instead

Food is not great & the staff was clueless when I tried ordering vegan food from their menu. Was put on hold several times as the person yelled to the kitchen to ask about options that their menu clearly states & this has happened more than once. Mozzarella sticks were cold inside & pizza was just ok… Made me super nervous to eat their food after the staff being so confused about what vegan even means bc I have a dairy allergy. Won’t be going back. Stinks bc location is convenient.

Daiya Cheeze

If culinary veganism is a science experiment, rather than a dietary replacement to subtract animals out of the equation of your food, why would anyone continue to choose this brand of cheese, there's actually a New York brand made for New York Pizza because vegan New Yorkers were fed up with this old 2015 brand of cheese. I'm not saying they should be bougie with it ( the price for a pizza was already ridiculously high when I first bought it) but at least the quality in case would be better.

They gave me regular mozz sticks 🤮

I called and asked what the vegan options were and was told there’s a vegan pizza and mozzarella sticks. I came to dine in and ordered both and they gave me regular sticks with a vegan pizza. I was thrown off the second I bit into it but still doubted myself. After careful consideration I decided to just nicely asked the waiter to make sure with the kitchen that they had made me vegan mozz sticks and he proceeded to tell me that’s not what I ordered and they don’t even have that. I definitely told him multiple times that I wanted both things vegan and I was appalled by the way he reacted. Another person came over and said they would ask the kitchen and after they came back they said they do have it and will fix it.

Overall the food was good. They use “follow your heart” cheese. If you do go just be very very careful or you’ll end up sick like I was. It’s one thing to mess up an order but it’s another thing to be rude and blame the customer. I was really excited to go here but after that experience I won’t be going back. Aside from everything else it was also super expensive.

That sucks. Maybe reach out to management/ownership. I'd think any owners would want to make things right rather than lose your business.

Two years later and they did the same to me. Guess they can’t get it right

Closest to regular non-vegan pizza I’ve had so far,but can still tell it’s vegan

This pizza was super good and the closest to regular pizza I’ve had so far. I felt comfortable with it though because I could still tell it was vegan cheese. The mozz sticks are a similar story: still very good but you are comfortable because you can tell they’re vegan.

Delicious

So exciting that the Lake Grove location now has vegan pizza! We ordered a margarita and grandmas as well as an order of mozzarella sticks and everything was delicious. They also have regular and Sicilian plus several vegetable toppings that can be added to the pies.
