Tasty vegan options? ÜGOT it! - Edit
Great to see an outlet that caters for vegans. Ideal location and moderately priced, there is a good vegan selection of salads, wraps, sandwiches, refreshments and cakes on offer. The chocolate orange brownie is sublime. We always get a coffee or tea to go here as soya milk is always available and the staff are always very welcoming with some nice tunes in the background. Also has seating inside and outside.
Pros: Vegan options , Location, Friendly staff
Cons: Serves meat

Vegan food in train station - Edit
So handy to be able to get vegan food at the train station. Had a delicious cauliflower and houmous salad. Would have been nice if they told you it doesn't have a fork in it, had to awkwardly eat it with my fingers on the train!

It is so good to have a friendly independent coffee shop catering for vegan eating on the go. Every station should have a Ugot.
Pros: no Starbucks tax avoidance here, good vegan selection of snacks, tasty coffee

Great railway station healthy food to go concept with a strong vegan influence. Emphasis is on healthy food with a friendly face. They have a chilled cabinet dedicated to meat free products such as power salads, wraps and sandwiches. For a prime train station location I think it's very fairly priced. Anyone waiting or getting off at Platform 2 is bound to be at least intrigued by this quirky and modern place. The coffee is great and they do an amazing vegan matcha muffin to have it with. You'll also find branches of ÜGOT at York station and in Harrogate, next to the train station funnily enough!
Pros: vegan friendly, location, modern
Cons: some meat on sale

friendly and good vegan options - Edit
Convenient little takeaway place at Newcastle train station, I had a cauliflower and hummus salad and an almond latte - both were delicious! Would recommend.
