There are vegan and non vegan options on the menu but everything I've had so far was delicious. Really recommend the vegan gyozas, hot dog and baked sweet potato with kimchi. The fries were great and the vegan brownie was absolutely mind-blowing! Highly recommend for vegans who are coming with non vegan friends, so that there are options for everyone. Staff is very friendy as well.

Read moreThe owner is very welcoming and the menu offer plenty of “bascos dishes” veganized. We discovered an original interpretation of “pulpo Gallego” cooked with shiitake, it was absolutely delicious. We also tried a burger with jackfruit and some steak of seitan cooked on plancha. All was very tasty. I recommande this place, if you want to discover Spanish food in a vegan version. I will appreciate to come back on a next trip to Bilbao !

A rare fully vegan place to eat - Edit
Amazing to find a place with fully vegan meals in Spain. We had a selection of started and the lasagne and fresh warm chocolate brownie for dessert. Classic vegan dishes using vegan ‘meat’ nothing special but always nice to enjoy a comforting meal. A good place to have a meal. Brownie was especially delicious!!

We had high hopes after reading the reviews for this place, but were disappointed. The restaurant was a bit shabby and grubby. Food was lukewarm. The sweet potatoes were good, but burgers were served with a sum toal of six chips. Mediocre, overpriced food. Service was rude and unfriendly. Will not be returning!

Very pleased with this authentic Basque food experience on a beautiful day. The food disappeared so quickly I didn’t manage to get a picture. Highly recommend the homemade Seitan, lasagna and gyozas.

To start we ordered papas arrugadas which came with superb green and red mojos.
Read moreFor mains, the fusilli was perfectly cooked and subtly though adequately flavoured. The lasagne was tasty if a little gnarly at the edges.
Carrot cake, coffee and tea were all top notch.
The waiter was attentive and chatty, and made us feel welcome. It was nice that the cook also asked how we liked the food.
We had seen many great reviews of TxuKrut and they are well deserved.
A really nice experience all round.
