Wir hatten Falafel zur Vorspeise und das Schnitzel und den Tel Aviv Mix als Hauptgerichte. Das Schnitzel war mit Abstand das leckerste vegane Schnitzel, was ich seit Jahren gegessen habe. Als Nachtisch hatten wir den Brownie und einen Käsekuchen, beides auch lecker.

Das 269 in Frankfurt ist mehr als ein gemütliches Restaurant mit pflanzlicher Küche, denn hier wird Veganismus als Haltung gelebt – liebevoll konsequent und mit voller Überzeugung für Tierrechte.

Das Essen war kreativ, sehr, sehr lecker und liebevoll angerichtet.
Ein weiterer Bonus: Wir konnten an Weihnachten problemlos nach Karte bestellen.
Die Leute vom Service waren sehr aufmerksam und freundlich; wir haben uns sofort richtig wohlgefühlt.
Für uns war es nicht "nur" ein Essen, sondern ein rundum tolles Erlebnis, da auch wir ethisch motiviert vegan leben und dies unser erster Besuch in einem Restaurant war, dessen Philosophie wir zu 100 Prozent teilen.
Die Preise waren zudem fair und vollkommen angemessen.
Parkplätze gab es in der Umgebung. Wir hatten Glück einen kostenfreien Parkplatz zu bekommen. Ansonsten ist ein Parkhaus in der Nähe.
Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

They honestly have a pretty wild mix of different cuisines. I mean they serve burger, schnitzel, schawarma, and pasta. We went for the tel aviv plate and the shakshuka and both were very delicious, especially the challah that came with the shakshuka. And the combination of something fresh and something warm for the tel aviv plate was genius.

It’s heaven. So many delicious options, everything looks good and tastes fresh and delicious. There was also a special menu with additional options to the ones displayed on the website (just because it isn’t already hard enough to decide with all the options).

There is a great selection of creative takes on traditional dishes! The shakshuka was spicy and tomato-fruity, and the 269 wrap had unique spices with fresh salad. The fries with the wrap were nice and crispy and came with a yummy veganaise. And the dessert browny is big enough to be shared, with the warm browny full of chocolate and the sweetness coming from the caramel ice cream. It was nice to hang out outside.

The shakshuka is amazing! I had never had it before - it is spicy and delicate and satisfying with the bread and tofu balls. The 269 wraps had shawarma, which I wanted to try. I’m not a fan of shawarma apparently, but the sauce and fresh veg was nice. The brownie with ice cream and whipped cream was great! There is lots of shaded outdoor seating and it is a nice atmosphere with friendly, attentive staff.

Had the schnitzel and the burger - can make the burger GF even if it doesn’t say on the menu. Super accomodating, learning that Frankfurt is pretty pricey but this place seems standard. Pasta options are slightly cheaper food option too.

I had been looking forward to finally dining at Two Six Nine for quite some time, after hearing such great things about it. Thanks to a lovely recommendation, I finally made it – and it truly did not disappoint.

For the main course, I had the Tagliatelle Truffle, with a rich cream sauce, truffle paste, mushrooms, and topped with vegan parmesan and fresh parsley. In one word: divine. And for dessert, we shared the homemade cheesecake with raspberry sauce – simply brilliant! Creamy and sweet – the perfect way to end the meal.
The restaurant itself is spacious, with plenty of indoor seating and a lovely terrace that’s slightly tucked away from the street, making it feel peaceful and cozy. The whole experience was elevated by the incredibly kind and attentive staff – we felt so well taken care of.
I honestly can’t wait to come back and try more dishes - everything on the menu sounds mouthwateringly good!

Can’t review food unfortunately. Hours online said it would be open on the day I visited.. but no signs of life. Completely closed and lights off. Maybe just got unlucky. Perhaps call ahead?

Ich gehe immer wieder ins 269 und bin immer sehr zufrieden. Besonders jetzt im Sommer, auf der Terrasse, ist die Atmosphäre noch viel besser. Das Essen ist immer köstlich, gut gewürzt und mit viel Gemüse.
