Rewind to being a vegan in 2007. Nice enough service but very sad vegan options that are very pricey. Fine if you’re desperate and hungry but don’t make a special trip.

The service was high quality, friendly, knowledgeable and prompt. The coffee is good and satisfying. I found the food to be fine but not exceptional, the balance of flavour was not enough to tip it over from ok. We had the OG salad and eggplant toastie.

I had the “Hommus and stuff” plate. The pickled onion, sauerkraut and olives were pickled perfectly. The falafel was soft and crispy however there wasn’t a lot of falafel. You get more with the falafel salad. The iced matcha wasn’t sweet which was really refreshing. Not a lot of recent reviews here but the food was okay. Lots of options for non vegans too

Tried this cafe on a recommendation and it did not disappoint. Walked in and already a vegan option on the special board without even looking at the menu and vegan sweets in the cake display. Staff were friendly and place was nice and airy. Only let down was I found the serving to be on the small side. Well worth another visit

Five star coffees. I love these guys. Getting a great cafe in the area has been a long time coming. However I am sad to discover that the vegan options are cooked in shared fryer. That won't upset some vegans.
Read moreStill I will drink the coffee as it's always excellent and they have some vegan cakes and cookies. If they can manage a separate fryer I'm all in five stars.
They're great staff.

We had dogs with us when we visited, so sat outside. They had a doggie bowl and comfortable seating. Service was friendly and not intrusive.
Read moreVegan items are marked on the menu, and they seem only to happy to cater for us. I had the falafel which was exceptional (and I've had plenty of those in my life) and the burger I was told was 'amazing'. Clearly all house made. Coffee was really good and almond milk is an option. They did have some sweet options in the cabinet I noticed too.
Definitely recommend if you are in the area.
