The best vegan restaurant in Columbus - Edit
This was my second time here and I got the street tacos which were fantastic. My only note would be that the pickled radish could use a little more acidic bite to balance out the mushroom steak flavor but as for the mushroom steak it was seasoned and cooked perfectly. Factoring price, variety, and quality I believe that TDRH is the best vegan option in Columbus. If only they had a second location on the north end!

Great vibe - Edit
I stopped here many years ago on a trip to visit family in my home state. I was a new baby vegan at the time and this was my first vegan restaurant in Columbus I tried. Great memories. Great spot.

Funky vibe - Edit
The place reminds me of the "Hippie" establishments from long ago. Very relaxed atmosphere. I got the Tortuga and my wife got the sandwich with salad. While I do not consider them to be excellent fare, they were both reasonably good and of reasonable value. This is also a small bookstore (I ended up purchasing a book), which makes for an interesting atmosphere; we had time to peruse while we waited for the food to be ready, which did not take long to get. We got the Cream Pie for dessert, which was very good.

Fantastic food - Edit
Went to 2DRHQ , they have a rotating menu. Had the egg plant pambazo. It was crunchy delicious. And sampled a couple of dips. Buffalo queso was outstanding. And the artichoke. This place has beer wine and espresso machine for delicious coffee and tea. Quirky place also is a bookstore. Everything in the store is vegan. Courteous service. Clean and delicious ! Highly recommend it

Books & Food! - Edit
This is my favorite vegan restaurant in Columbus. The prices are affordable/well-portioned and the menu has continued to improve over the years. You can check out and buy books while you wait — even their own cookbooks slinging their own recipes of the stuff on the menu. The side salads have really well distributed dressing and are great. If you can snag a cactus tortuga, it is top tier! Really nice folks working. Great pasty selection. Kombucha on tap rules!! Great events take place here, too. Oh I could gush about the place forever.

What a cool place. We’ve eaten here now at least a dozen times and love it every time we go. I love how diverse their menu is, and while getting takeout is great, the real treat is when you eat there. As a truly unique business, they are also a publishing company and have a super cool bookstore concept integrated into the restaurant! They put so much time into crafting unique and delicious dishes and you really can’t go wrong. They even have their own cookbooks where they share their recipes. We own both, but love eating there so much. Bring your friends and family here when they come to town - you won’t regret it! I am always craving the Pambazo and Chilaquiles for dinner and the Bunny Chow for breakfast. Their cocktail menu is SO fun and $6-7 for a really well-crafted cocktail? It can’t be beat. My favorite cocktails are (titles shortened) Pockets and Christmas, both also amazing as non-alcoholic too. Columbus, please support this beautiful business!

Incredible - Edit
First - love that it’s a bookstore cafe. Second, the menu was vast and descriptive, which was incredibly helpful as I’m gluten free and my friend I went with was soy free. Portions are great - staff is super friendly, everything tasted incredible. I got the Buffalo Mac & Cheezy bowl and it was so good. It can be hard to get vegan mac & cheese right - was not disappointed!

Best Vegan Food Yet! - Edit
Amazing restaurant and delicious food- I ordered the Mac and cheeze stuffed tortuga with lentil “beef” and my friend ordered the tacos, one with jackfruit “pork” and one with lentil “beef” (didn’t get a picture) as well as a hibiscus drink. My plate wasn’t as filling as I expected, but nevertheless SO delicious. They also had some baked goods, so I grabbed the raspberry “pop-tart.” Perfect amount of sweetness!

I was really stoked on this place. The staff is super friendly, the lattes were really good (Chai and hazelnut), and the food was incredible. We ordered the meat lovers Tortuga (my favorite) and the brunch Tortuga. I even loved the salad and potatoes. Also wish I could buy their ketchup. Lol

Cool neighborhood spot - Edit
Took me a minute to find parking (street parking only) but once I did, I had no trouble getting a menu and ordering at the counter. I got a tortuga to go, and it was crispy and delicious. I also took a few minutes to browse the amazing collection of books and pick something out. If I was in the area, I would definitely hang out here and try more. I would have loved to see one healthy thing on the menu, just because I really wanted some greens today, but that's just a preference and they do what they do well!

Charming and Delicious - Edit
We visited Two Dollar Radio for brunch with Omni friends who were blown away by the selection. The drinks are also top notch - they carry One Line beans, one of the best roasters in Columbus, and the barista does them justice. Speaking of which, the book selection for ethics, social justice, and better living were very neat. A place we will continue to come back to!

We enjoyed browsing the books and bought some of those as well. The service was great, music was great and we enjoyed it visit. I'll be back!

Stopped in this past Saturday to try out the food based upon a recommendation. I was not disappointed at all. Met one of the owners who was nice enough to go over the menu with me and explaining different items. Even got to chat about the Columbus Crew.

Great vegan cafe and bookshop! - Edit
Excellent food. Go on the weekends for brunch and get tasty versions of your favorite breakfast foods. Or go anytime for the creative "Tortugas", basically a sort of burrito or wrap filled with yummy ingredients. Everything is vegan, down to the non-dairy milks used in the coffee drinks. Browse for books and art while you wait for your food at this funky, independent neighborhood spot.

Forever my top spot in Columbus - Edit
Two Dollar Radio is a welcomed and wonderful surprise! The bookstore, coffee shop, bar, and cafe is wonderful for vegs and nons, families, dates, studying... really anything!
Read moreTheir menu is constantly changing and they also host pop ups using their kitchen, but whenever you come, there's awesome options.
Keep in mind, there are two different menus- one for brunch and one for all other times. If you have something specific in mind that you want to get, be sure to go when it’s available.
I've used Two Dollar Radio as a meet up spot multiple times now for 10 people and they've been absolutely amazing each time. Be sure to call them ahead of time and they'll really hook you up.
As for drinks, they have great coffee options and also serve alcohol.
Only street parking is available, but it’s never been a problem. Be sure to lock your car!
