Two Boots Pizza

knowing that I can get a slice of vegan pizza anytime of day has made my transition that much more seamless. I don't do it that often, but the option has been a psychological G*d send.

My wife and I shared 4 slices of the V is for Vegan pizza, and it was great. Well priced, MASSIVE slices, really good balance of toppings, and yummy vegan cheese. So great to see places like this serving vegan options. It is also a really cool spot with nice, weird, funky design and feel.

Two Boots Jersey City has three different vegan pies: the Earth Mother, V for Vegan, and the Bubba. The Earth Mother has a thick whole wheat crust with tomato sauce, tons of veggies, and no cheese. It is pretty tasty and seemingly healthy, too!

The V for Vegan has daiya cheese, basil pesto, red pepper pesto, artichoke, and tons of other veggies as well. The Bubba is also a daiya cheese pizza that has broccoli and olives.

Two Boots also has a number of beers on tap. Although it is a small chain of restaurants, it has a pretty neighborhoody feel in Jersey City.

Josh, a counterperson at the restaurant on many evenings, is very friendly and helpful. The restaurant usually has at least one vegan pie to sell by the slice, but it is often helpful to call in advance to find out how many slices they have. Otherwise you may want to order a pie.
