Great Thai food - Edit
The food is here is great, and they will work with you to veganize a lot of their menu items. The price is really great for the quantity and quality of food you get. Just remember to mention no fish sauce.
Pros: Delicious food, Tons of options, Great prices
Cons: Remember to say no fish sauce

Great Curry - Edit
Restaurant is bright and clean and our server was very nice. The yellow curry with tofu was delicious, as were the summer rolls with tofu.

Lots of good tofu options - Edit
I want to love Twisted Noodles, I really do. The vegan options are great, but the atmosphere is lacking. For a long time they didn't have music playing to help soften the conversations of different parties in the restaurant. They've since added music, but it's still a bit too quiet and awkward.
The service also used to be painfully slow, but it has since improved greatly, so hopefully they can maintain that. Food is good and most anything can be made vegan, as long as you like tofu. Make sure you specify vegan so they don't use fish sauce. My favorites are the Vegan Delight appetizer, glass noodles with tofu (ask for no egg) and the red curry vegetables with tofu. The portions are good, but could be just a *little* bit bigger for the price.
I also wish they offered coconut milk as a substitute to half-and-half for their Thai iced tea!
Pros: Service, Parking
Cons: Ambiance

Great vegan options! - Edit
I love that they say on they menu they can make things vegan. I come here a lot- they just have lower prices than most thai food places. Friendly and quick service!

Hands-Down One of the Best - Edit
I absolutely LOVE Twisted Noodles! Anything on the menu can be made vegan, which is awesome. I haven't had a single bad dish here, and I've tried many. I highly recommend the Vegan Delight appetizer, drunken noodles, and pad thai. Maybe not all in one sitting, though . . .
Pros: Delicious food, Very vegan-friendly, Polite waitstaff

Best location - Edit
It is shocking how consistant this location is in comparison to its sister in Durham. The menus are identical and decor is similar but Chapel Hill's spot is cleaner and the food is always the same. Skip the curries; they are watery and just OK. The real winner is the chile and basil sauce-- drunken noodles sans egg being the key. Vegetarian soup is delicious and filling too.
Pros: tasty, clean
Cons: small, bad location

Good Food, Friendly Service - Edit
Thai, and some Japanese, cuisine. Many vegan choices. Food is pretty good. Wide selection of the usual fare; Vegan- Tom Yum, Tom Kha, Fried Rice, Vegetable Gyoza (fried or steamed), etc. Reasonably priced lunch specials. Thai beer available. Medium-to-small dining room with a modern art feel to it. Very friendly service. Recommend lunch. Eastgate Shopping Center.
Pros: Tastey, Affordable, Friendly
