Amazing food and lots of options

Lovely restaurant with really friendly staff. A member of staff who spoke English told us that the food was all vegan as we were unsure as the names of items in the menu aren't clear that it's fake meat. The food was delicious and there was so much to choose from.

Delicious vegan food!

Super cute and cozy restaurant! The food was amazing, and my carnivore husband loved it, too.😉 We had an eggplant dish, "meatballs", and an Indian inspired curry. All three were so good, and my husband asked the server more than once if it was really vegan because the "meat" in all 3 dishes seemed almost too authentic. Staff were super nice and accommodating to us and our questions. A previous review showing the actual location (Google's location is not accurate) led us right to the restaurant. We will for sure be back, and probably bring friends, too. There is also a little gift area near the counter where you can buy handmade soaps and beautiful jewelry. Such a great place!😊

Pros: Big menu, tons of options. Super friendly.

Cons: Little bit pricey, but worth it!

Vegan option in Tianjin

I searched this out based on the Happy Cow review. It was hard to find and good for a city with few options. Map location is wrong. See screenshot in photos—the blue dot is the actual location of the restaurant.

Pros: Home style food, Friendly staff (one spoke English), Seven Avenues area

Cons: Expensive (for China), Hard to find

Excellent!

Amazing experience! The staff is incredibly nice and welcoming and they speak english. They are kind buddhists that own a little place and contribute to save endangered animals and to other institutions. In the menu you will find names like chicken and pork but actually everything is vegan. We were told they use those names considering what ingredients they will use to “imitate” the texture and flavor of that meat. Everything was delicious, we were given lots of recommendations bu the cook himself, shown pictures, always greeted with smiles and jokes. Highly recommend if you are in Tianjin!

Pros: Everything vegan, Friendly staff, Speak english, lot of menu photos

Cons: Small place

Wonderful veg restaurant!

Pricey for China (our meal for three with waters was $45USD) but worth it to us. Had a nice, fresh salad. The lamb with potatoes was great. The crispy sausage was crazy good. Seasonal veggies super spicy but tasty. The people were so friendly and warm, and the atmosphere was charming with simple and natural but lovely presentations. Menu has English and photos, and our server spoke English.
